AnimalMother117: I try and stay away from political statements on GOG, I don't want to rile anyone's feathers against me (unless they're really soft), but I admit that there is some merit to that. My sociology class is almost half how I'm apparently a sexist misogynist on credit of being male. And there are several other things on this topic I could go on about (one of the few political/ issues me and my buddy can complain about together) this, but I'll leave it at this. Almost makes you think dude-bro-ery is a reaction to that, not being one myself or necessarily having a high opinion of them. Same with my history text books, my political science text book, my psych book actually avoided this, and somewhat my English books (i. e. the stories and examples in book), philosophy leaned this way too. Just get tired of it.
monkeydelarge: All "educational" places like High Schools and Colleges in America have been taken over by the feminists here so yeah...I imagine you are exposed to this on a daily basis. Unfortunately, you already gave them your money so if you want your money's worth, best to pretend to agree with everything your professors say.... If you don't, they will try to ruin your life.
Oh, you have no idea (you probably do, actually), and a lot of it is that even girls/women have to be told how they're oppressed before they even notice it. So, I have to sit there and go along with it, because it's the right answer (no, people, there are stupid questions. They're anything contrary to the book, or professor). Makes you wanna put the wrong answer on the test just to see how the professor might react (giving me a bad grade is an "oh, duh," but you get it). I put up with it, but if I didn't have my mates to rant about it, it'd be pretty miserable stuff.
Edit: To be fair, most of my instructor's are nice, but it still is frustrating to be a misogynist by default.
