adaliabooks: I hadn't looked at it again after my first read through (I presume we mean the guy claiming the EULA was DRM?)

But I noticed the title was greyed out meaning it had been down voted. If people had also reported it as spam it may have gotten auto deleted, I believe that's how it works anyway.

P1na: That makes sense. People seem to be click happy with the minus rep, and last I saw of the guy he was at -1. If you combine that with the clickbait title... tons of people must have looked at that. I wish they wouldn't misuse the spam reporting, though.

P1na: You probably missed the part where he was asking for a refund on grounds of the EULA, to test if the refunds were trustworthy and confirm his willingness to buy more games in GOG. Presumably, to get those refunded too, as the EULA is the same. I must have missed something, because I found it hilarious.

This would be a shocking sign for a truly fucked up community full of shitheads O.O I mean... Saying that a "I agree to the EULA" checkbox is DRM, is a bit over the top (although you HAVE to check it if you want to install your game - but who cares if you do it without even reading the EULA?), but killing his thread with spam reports? Whoa, I hope this didn't really happen here! The alternative (GOG deleting the thread) doesn't sound great either, but... Honestly, we don't want to be the community who kills threads we don't like!

F4LL0UT: I don't think there was an announcement but in one of the more recent release threads some blue woman posted something recently and admitted that she's new (I think after JMich asked who she is). In another thread Judas mentioned that she's the community manager. I think she also mentioned that she's responsible for the tweets and Facebook posts.

Hey, I'm not secret, they don't keep me in the basement with no windows and doors, I swear!

I've appeared here and there, I just don't want to spam every thread with hellos, and intro threads where everyone comes and inspects the new blue-named person seem a bit like a "look at this curious new specimen in the science lab" event. ;)

Everyone seems to jump to conclusions a little bit quickly here... In the Witcher thread, Ciris said she was involved in the social media stuff (twitter, facebook, twitch), it doesn't imply she's assigned to modding the forum and has to be on watch.

I tought PM'ing her to write a proper introduction thread to avoid confusions such as in this thread but I think most people here are adults and don't go "burn the witch!" because of assumptions.

BTW, RIP the eula thread which was funny to read, thx to OP comments :(

Nah, but thanks for clarifying that this case was not caused by moderation but just a technical issue (or a side effect of how the down repping / spam reporting work).
