Has the largest game world ? I'm starting my adventure in Neverwinter nights 1&2 but I'm always looking to what I'll be doing next.

I want to get lost in an rpg and just explore. I'd prefer some sort of open world, but I know there haven't been that many of those.
Elder Scrolls Morrowind and Oblivion jump to mind.

And both aren't on GoG.

(besides, Daggerfall was much, much larger. But isn't on GoG either)

He said "GOG" rpg and even than Daggerfall is the largest by far :P
Those arn't GOG though - I think Gothic, Divine Divinity and Arcanum are meant to be pretty big unless they just somehow take a long time in a small world...

Maybe we should let OP know that while Arena and Daggerfall arn't on GOG they are availiable for free though? Just in case he's not aware?

I like to ask, Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity are Diablo Clones right, what makes them different enough from Diablo though?

Yes, Bethesda released them as freeware a couple or so years ago, but it's best not to use the vanilla Daggerfall, but to use this version of Daggerfall, because it comes with all the bugfixes etc made by fans:

Dunno, its one one the games sitting in my back log waiting for me to finish IceWind Dale or Arena, haven't got to it yet!

Think it was more syncronised Ninjitsu rather than anything else - don't worry!

The world of Gothic 1 isn't very large. But it is very well thought out and filled with a living community. Same goes for some others. Gothic 2 is larger and Gothic 3 is yet larger and even too large (or not filled enough). When rpg worlds get too big, they also tend get empty or repetitive. I would say Gothic 2 and Ultima 7 are each in it's own way perfectly sized. But I am not sure which one of those on GoG is the largest over all. Perhaps one of the older ones where size didn't mean creating lots of graphics? I think Ultima 2 was quite huge and spread over several worlds/timelines.

Realms of Arkania is big and so are the Might and Magic games (I recommend 6 and 7). Darklands has a big world too. I do not know which is biggest but there are hours and hour of play in each of these games with lots to explore.

No way! I like my torch! I will never put it down. *waves torch around*
I had no idea that daggerfall was free. That's awesome. But I'll check out Gothic. It's already on my wishlist. I didn't know it was that big of a world.

Gothic isn't actually that big, you are in a 'prison' after all. It was plenty big for me but then I'm the type of person who gets lost crossing the street.
