tinyE: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN YOU BASTARD!? DON'T EVER LEAVE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN! :D

I'll go Torchlight 2, GTA San Andreas, and all of the Settlers games.

Antimateria: I've been always here.. but you know you always are first. "That was what I was going to say" also.. I'm making masks from human leather. =P
If you ever get to the States I'll take you to Eddie's home town. It's only about 4 or 5 hours from here. Of course they don't like people snooping around so we'll have to be discreet.

I'll take you to greenland if that is a place. =P Still if you have a good computer and get it half free you should try assassins creed black flag. It's surprisingly good. O_o

Edit: I might edit this.. I like Stonekeep but it's hard. I like to throw stones and get some enemy.. I don't like many enemies at once. it's insane. also those all barrels look a like. =)

Apok: The Witcher: I started playing it, but then I went on vacation and when I got back I couldn't get back into it. Consequentially I haven't even started playing the second game.

Mirror's Edge: I can see why people like it and the first few times I played it I really liked the visuals and the concept, but after a few hours I got bored of it.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines: I don't even have en explanation here. I love the atmosphere and for it's age the game plays very well. I don't know why I never finished it.

Shadow Warrior (2013): I got to a part where I kept dying, but I'm too stubborn to turn the difficulty down.

Serious Sam: The second encounter: I played the first Serious Sam and loved it. The second is more of the same with even more content. No particular reason I stopped.

Fallout 3: It's good, but never really appealed to me enough to finish it. I should start New Vegas which I'm told is better (should probably even try the old ones).

Space Quest II: Bet you didn't expect this one! Admittedly this game is before my time, but I really enjoyed the first one and after finishing the first one I attempted the second. It has attitude and will not be kind, but If the player is willing enough to endure it you get a classic Sierra game experience. I lack the will, as the game is very mean. :p

Hopefully writing all of that will force me to play some of those to completion. :)
I hate Mirror's Edge. Too much running away for my taste. It would be nice if once in awhile you could lay traps for the assholes chasing you or turn around once in awhile to unload a SMG clip into their faces. I know you can fight them in the game with punches and kicks but that is not enough. The game also throws some puzzles your way and I'm not into that kind of stuff. It ruins the mood for me.

Right, games I have not finished but loved regardless... The list is way too long I suppose.

Many of the Bethesda games, but that's because I don't play them to be finished.

Expeditors: Conquisdator (spelling?), but that because I suck at turn-based strategy

Never finished any of the Total War games aside from a couple of campaigns, I'd recommend those to anyone - I just don't have the patience to pull trough them.

King Arthur: The Roleplaying Wargame - loved that one to death, same issue as with TW games

Deus Ex. Yes, I have never finished the original Deus Ex. I did get right to the end, just ... Kind of ... Stopped playing there tho.

Antimateria: In my opinion Witcher 1 is better in every sense, second one has too much political baffle. That combat.. how I could like witcher 2 combat because it was so small and linear so i did not even have a chance to understand that mechanics where you had to guess when to drink a potion..
Not entirely sure what you wanted to say by the second half of your post, but when it comes to me, I feel Witcher 2 was just way better than the original in every way imaginable. Since I loved politics of the books, I have absolutely adored what they did with them in the second game. And the non-linearity of the story, especially the second act, yummy...

It's a game about running, what did you expect? :D

Thanks for being here. Not many threads are complete before you.. You have edited your name but it's for the better. I should try mirrors edge again.. I got physX now.

Yeah.. I would prefer beyond good and evil 2 to kick mirrors edge 2's face.

Yeah, the enemies can really get frustrating. I think shying away from combat is fine, but the game would really benefit from another gameplay aspect. I got really bored of just running away and solving puzzles over and over again. We'll see with Mirror's Edge 2 I guess.

Imagine how entertaining it would be if you could leave a puddle of oil or something else slippery for the thugs chasing you? Watching them fall and slip like it's a cartoon. And imagine if the main character can enter some kind of berserk mode where all her kicks and punches instantly kill. So she can turn around and just beat the crap out of 100 of those thugs chasing her.

That would mess with their pretty art style though and your eyes wouldn't hurt as a consequence. :p

I would have actually liked them to just drop combat altogether - it's simple enough, if you disliked the running, it's not a game for you and if they put more resources into fighting, running would suffer as a consequence. As it stands, I wish they wouldn't put any resources at all into combat - altho I suppose it's ok as it is, the combat is meant as a last resort and is rather simplistic anyway.

My point is: More and better running = more of what Mirror's Edge is good at. Improving combat would definitely not make people who actually like Mirror's Edge all that happy.

The running away non stop makes you feel so helpless. If running away nonstop = fun for me, then I wouldn't need a game. I would just go outside and troll security guards.

And you could get an even more hardcore experience by going outside and trolling cops but I do not recommended this.

I don't put other people's happiness above mine. I care about my happiness, first... But thanks for sharing your opinion. I do like hearing other people's opinions.

Heh, don't you worry, I don't give a toss about your happiness. I'm saying that even if combat were improved, you wouldn't have enjoyed the game more because the main focus would still be the same - and the game would just end up being worse overal. Not every game out there is made for you.

What I meant is, my happiness is #1. Of course, I do think about others. I'm not a sociopath. But the happiness of others is #2. And for me, more combat would make the game less boring. And of course, if a game is made for me, then the game would me more enjoyable for me.
