Out of all the games that have been released , which ones have you not bought due to the silly drm on them

steam, uplay, origin , and anything else you dont like such as cd checks , securom, safedisc etc

It is true that I try to avoid DRM, but I'm not going to let DRM prevent me from playing I game I want to play.

Define DRM.
Are we talking needing the disc in the drive or all that new SimCity bullshit?

Hmm almost none.
I didn't even consider Diablo 3 due to the always online thing, same for the new SimCity.. but I probably wasn't going to buy them anyway.
The only ones I can think of are Dead Rising 2 and the sequel/spinoff which I didn't get because GFWL is going away and they haven't said they'll be removing that from the games.
Otherwise I just get what I want when I can afford it.

The new SimCity and anything from Ubisoft within the past five years (they still want to use always-on DRM)

I don't buy always-online stuff, because my internet connection is dubious. But there aren't any always-online games that I want to play, so that's kind of a moot point.

Well at the moment I'm not buying anything on Steam - but that's only because I'm in between gaming computers right now, and at the moment I'm playing games from an external hard disk on my business machine so can't really get away with installing clients and the like.

Simcity was an instabuy for me until I heard who was making it and the silly Online Only BS. So, that is by far the biggest one, followed by Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, Skyrim in anticipation order. But probably anything with DRM and to me Steam = DRM.

Well I don't mind CD checks but I draw the line at install limits and online requirements so I'd say anything from StarCraft 2 and on.

Quite a lot :

- Portal 2 (and it makes me sad)
- X-Com, the tactical remake and the FPS.
- Civ 5
- Deus Ex 3
- Fallout New Vegas (and it makes me VERY sad)
- Skyrim (and it makes me VERY very sad)
- Far Cry 3 (and it makes me sad)
- The Walking Dead
- The latest Batman games (althogh maybe I've had my share of that gameplay with the first ones)
- Mafia 2

But to be honest, I do keep an eye on Portal 2, to grab it if it's ever decently discounted.

I can't say I have ever cared that much about DRM. It has never effected me, my game or my PC so I don't care.

In all the years I have used GFWL, I found more than enough uses for it and to be honest I was sad to see it go. In all these years there was never a problem with it.

Since my gaming PC has a very limited internet connection, almost every game that has online DRM component is a no-buy for me. The reason I say "almost" is because if the game is very good, then I buy it, but I end up playing a p** version, because it's not really my fault that my gaming PC has a limited internet on it........

The most notable game I refused to buy was Assassin's Creed 2. The "always-on even for single player" DRM felt like a huge middle finger. It felt like if I was told: "You don't have a normal internet on your gaming pc? Then f*k off, this game is for the rich peolpe only, with stable internet 24/7, not for the likes of you."

The other was Mirror's Edge, but it was quite long ago, before my gaming PC had *any* internet. The game was in my cart, I checked out, I was about to give my money to the guy in the shop, when he asked:
"Meet the system reqs?"
"Yep. Absolutely."
"Internet?"
".....why?"
"You have to activate in online."
"... I dont have internet. It's a no-buy then. Sorry."
