Skyrim.
Risen 2. Though I hope this one comes to GoG in fulness of time.
Demonicon. Already an out of mainstream game, was it really sensible to push the envelope even further with Steam?

Phc7006: For other games, I waited till their price had been sharply reduces / till they were on a 75% sale : Total War Empire, Napoleon, Shogun II , or till a drm free version was released, : Risen 1 & 2
Risen 2!! I did not realise the fulness of time was ... now! Though the price is a little steep...

It was 60% off last Thursday-Friday so I doubt it will be on sale again soon.

You just missed the release sale, which made it fairly attractive. It will sale again, just be ready.

Oh, well, just for the sake of the principle of being happy of seeing this one come Steam-free, I chuck it into the cart and check out.

Though the add on download size is pretty obnoxious too... compared with BGII for example that had an amazing content and a lovely game engine for very untaxing system requirements.
Although I sometimes feel like I'm chanting drm-free, I do have an extensive amount of games that do have drm on them. So I had to think about how to answer this question.

I came to the realization that I haven't bought anything with drm since last summer, but prior to then, drm was for me a non-issue. I have approximately 160 games on steam, and a few on origin.

I tend to not follow anything gaming related, due to lack of time and interest. The games which I know about for the most part are on gog, and although I know more exist, I don't particularly care that they do.

So to answer the question, every game that was not released on gog from summer of last year to the present time I have not considered buying.

Heroes of Might & Magic 6.
Anything with UPlay or Origin required. Anno 2070 being the last that was on a Steam sale.

I'm not a fan of Steam, but at the right price I will buy there, however they couldn't even give me anything with UPlay or Origin listed as a requirement.

The release sale was quite attractive, indeed. But, yes, there is a good chance to see it discounted later. The summer sale is only a couple of months away...
Pretty much anything that makes use of the ridiculous UPlay... or any game that has installation limits. I can put up with DRM to a point, even if I prefer none, but those two I will not deal with in any way, shape, or form.
I don't mean to ask a bunch of silly questions, as I do try and research these things before I ask here, and I do not mean to hog this thread, but with that out of the way:
Does anyone know if the Star Wars games: Dark Forces II:Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, Republic Commando, or the KOTOR games work well on Windows 7?
Also, do the Fan Favorite collections or the Best of PC collections have DRM, and if so, all or most games in them?
Also, Battlefront 1&2 DRM. PC Rogue Squadron, work on Windows 7?

The KotOR games do work on Win7, but I have no answers for the rest of the questions.

*edit* It should be noted that I have the disc versions, not the Steam versions. I have no idea if the Steam versions work on Win7 or not, but I don't see why they wouldn't.

Thanks very much, mate. As it were, every little bit helps.
Seeing your edit, if anything I'd get the disc versions, don't like Steam.
