Neverwinter Nights Diamond was all I bought for myself. I mostly asked for hardware and had bought the few new games I wanted beforehand.

Game.co.uk had a nice Christmas sale going, and they don't charge much for shipping, so got the following:
Unreal Anthology
Devil May Cry 4 - mostly to support Capcom's PC efforts, and for the fact that LDK mode is awesome in and of itself.
Guild Wars: Prophecies - it's mostly my brother that's going to play this, though, not a fan of MMOs. GW is about the only one I can at least tolerate.
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition ... which hasn't shipped yet, despite the fact the other three already arrived. Hope it didn't get "lost" (read: stolen) in transit.
I also got Team Fortress 2 when its price was halved, didn't regret it so far. The guest pass that came with it convinced a mate to buy it as well, so finally my Steam Friends list has some legitimate use. Should be fun, when I finally get around to organizing things properly.
Got Trials 2 sometime during December, which is kind-of Christmas, and pre-ordered World of Goo way back when. Quality indie games, definitely worthy of support.

The Freespace games were from GOG (obviously), I got BioShock because of Steam's ridiculous sale and the Rock Band games were the "family gift" this year.

I got WoW:WoLK. Created a DK, enjoyed myself, finished the initial quest line, got offered the grind from 58 to 80 and quit.

Yep, from game.co.uk I got FarCry 2 Collectors Edition (the last one in stock, lucky me), Assassins Creed, Mass Effect,GRID and Sims 2 DD.All of that for only 80 bucks, incredibly cheap and awesome.Especially that FarCry 2 : ).I am going to use this site a lot, probably..
Hope your Witcher did not get stolen though, I bought mine a month ago in local czech eshop, now its sitting on a shelf, waiting for me to buy new LCD monitor and some other stuff.

I bought The Witcher:Enhanced Edition for myself. Most other games I wanted I'd already bought. I was considering Mass Effect on Steam (I really don't like the Steam concept, but was willing to give it a go for this one game). I waffled a bit on it, but the deciding factor was they still don't have the DLC ready for the Steam version, so I decided to pass.
Wii games for the kids/family we got were Mario Kart, Wii Play, and NHL 2K9.

Little Big Planet (and a PS3 included as bonus content:P) plus Buzz! and Tekken 5 DR Online. Too bad Tekken is such a lagfest that it's unplayable online, though... :(
About time I got meself a console, with all the console-exclusives and all, plus Resil was nice enough to lend me his copy of Metal Gear Solid 4. :3 I hope the FragFX v2 turns out to be a decent controller.
