This thread is another way of getting to know about new cool characters and games we haven't played before. And also gets to know more about the cool gog community that this is ;)

I'll start with me, Ive played a few games and Morte from Planescape Torment is basically almost too much like my personality. Always having a comeback, almost too vicious in taunting assholes/punks, but fiercely loyal to friends/family what not. Is somewhat of a crafty fellow but no one takes him/me seriously.

That's about it. So would anyone else like to share? There's got to be a character for everyone as there are many games out there. No one should feel left out. Plus like I said there's bound to be a few games I/everyone hasn't played before and thus a good way of learning something new :)
Yeah, Morte for me too, thats why I use the tag "Mortes Best Mate" as if TNO is a secondary character and Morte is the important one :)
He just is so funny and yet, he's probably got the best morals out of any of the other characters in the game.
Donkey Kong. He's this poor misunderstood being, sexually desperate and angry at the whole world. I also sometimes dream of standing on a tall building and throwing barrels at the people on the street.
The Nameless One, definitely. I studied philosophy at university and later experienced a mental / psychophysical breakdown. While I was ill I had many thoughts concerning myself and what I had done wrong to deserve my affliction (I assumed it was my fault), some of which were eerily similar to the terrifying recollections of The Nameless One. This game is the closest thing to philosophy for the video gamer and TNO bears a great burden and is an eternal outsider, so him definitely.
Garrus Vakarian without a doubt from the mass effect series

That name sounds familiar. Is that mass effect 1?

Interesting. I can see planescape is pretty popular here, and for good reasons.

Yes sir it is, apologies i should have put it in my post >.<
FYI, that was probably the only game I would like to give a 5th try if I ever get a better computer. It just in my opinion, had a really cool class system, the world was unique. Its a shame that every system I had crashed when playing that game. Im sure its easier to play on console so I don't know if getting on pc would be worth it. No way mac will work with that. :(

All the NPCs in that game are so well defined. They are all interesting for different reasons and I like them all, but TNO is out of them all the one I can best identify with. It's a shame that the level of interactivity between NPCs in that game couldn't have been incorporated into a 6th and final IE game taking the best elements of all five games and blending them together into a super-IE game. But I digress .....
I'd say either Rufus from Deponia, Guybrush Threepwood from Monkey Island, or Tex Murphy from well...Tex Murphy games.

I pick those three because they are underdogs, and honestly I grew up being one. Always wanting to be more than what they were, and even with selfish motives still wanting to help others. Also, all 3 were "human" characters, they were flawed, they were selfish, and they made mistakes (oh god do they make mistakes), but in the end they always try to do the right thing. I guess I relate with that because it proves even the underdog can do something important, something worth noting, something selfless and beneficial to others. :)
I've gotta say Sam from Sam & Max. I act like I'm very knowledgeable even if what I'm talking about is inaccurate, I love my car even though I totally neglect it, I get embarrassed by my peers' actions or behavior, I never lose my temper in front of others, and I enjoy playing the straight man to other people's outlandish behavior.
Jon Irenicus.
Only he is a bit too nice for my liking sometimes.

This above. Yet another reason I should pick up Anachronox. Ive heard nothing but good things about the game and seeing as I actually am just getting into West/east rpgs, this is a nobrainer to try. I usually like western rpgs, but lately eastern has proven to be very fun as well. That case is always true when the right company/setup is done. Like Planet Stronghold and Loren :)
