Q: What is the difference between NIckelback and Creed?

I mean, Nickelback is taking all the heat, why don't we hate on Creed too?

I don't get the mindless Nickelback hate. Hell, at least Nickelback sings about all kinds of different human situations, not just the "girl, I love you" or "girl, i hate you" staples of pop. Sure, they have their fair share of songs about getting lit and f***ing, but those are fun and no worse than, say, AC/DC or any other rock act. Their music seems fairly unpretentious to me, just good old fashioned rock, and that's probably related to the root of the hatred: pretentious hipsters needing to hate on something to make themselves feel "superior".

Didn't Creed break up a while back? That said, I agree. They were not only generic and bland but sanctimonious too.

I actually think that AC/DC are a fairly good comparison, since they aren't exactly anything to write home about. Seriously people, they've been releasing slight variations on the same song for 35 years now.

I don't listen to Nickleback, beacuse it's not really my kind of music.

But Rockstar is awesome song, and "How you remind me" is ok. Never heard anything else by Nickleback.
