Leroux: Throughout the whole video or only in the beginning? Because the sounds in the second half are still pretty annoying, even though they sound more like the actual game than buggy noise interferences ...
They are real sounds from the game obviously, but they don't play like that normally, if that makes any sense.

I guess so. You mean the sounds are authentic, but they should not be looped all the time, like it appears in the video?

Anyway, I was curious about this game for a long time, knowing little more than that it's a dungeon crawler I haven't played yet; but in the meantime, watching a bit of gameplay footage and reading reviews, I've come to the conclusion that it's not all that great and certainly not for me. The graphics and the supposed blandless and repetitiveness of the level design seem to be even greater offenders than the sounds, as you can't turn them off. ;)

The creatures sounds are right I guess, but those mechanical noises that sound like a chain lever that keep playing I'd say they aren't playing right. Not sure it's been a while since I played it, but I guess GOG will be/are testing the game and it's sound anyway.

Ok, but that's fun for 5 minutes or so. Not much sense in creating and leveling your character if you don't enjoy the rest of the game ... ;)
I can tell you that watching the video makes me look forward to the release of Entomorph even more...
I should have one of the tie-in books lying around here, I think it was called 'Sentinel' or something. Just your average sword and sorcery fair, as far as I recall, but it was enjoyable.
Shame the game looks kind of mediocre, based on the youtube footage. The soundtrack seems pretty neat, though.
