mrkgnao: - all the SSI Gold Boxes
- Lemmings
- Prince of Persia (the original one)
- King's Bounty: Armoured Princess (probably)

Fever_Discordia: Doesn't completing Sands of Time unlock the original game in the start menu? I'm sure I heard it did...
If I'm not mistaken, this is true of the Playstation 2 version, not the PC version. It is unlocked by breaking some wall during the game, but I found it unbreakable in the PC version (played from the original CD, not from GOG's version).

orcishgamer: Legacy of Kain stuff, I really think I own all the other old games that are good, boxed.
+10000!

hedwards: I think they usually were quicktime at that point in time. Although I've had trouble with older games demanding indeo. Indeo isn't available any longer without paying and the company that owns the license doesn't provide a trial period or grant refunds if it doesn't work.
Oh, I forgot about Indeo. Yes, another big troublemaker today. I hope there is a chance to convert the videos in another format, but I believe that's really problematic and maybe hard to do for gog. They got myst which is using quicktime to run, but regarding the subforum there are still in some cases problems.
American McGee's Alice
Commander Keen series
Need for Speed 2: Special Edition
Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed
Silver
SSI Gold Box series
Star Wars: Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series
System Shock series
Theme Park
Thief series

This is one of the reasons why I cringe when people suggest that we don't have to pay to use h.264 because MS has a license for it, well, MS used to have a license for Indeo as well, and that is no longer the case. I can't blame MS for pulling support, but for those that want to play old games the alternative is an unreasonably expensive license which one has no guarantee will work and for which one can't get a refund.
ACTUAL insta-buy? not just saying I really want it? Hrm.

- Evolution The Game of Intelligent Life
- Final Fantasy VIII (yes, thats a PC game too)
- Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines

HGiles: That said, if Majesty or the Elder Scrolls games showed up here I would definitely buy them.
Majesty would be awesome. The first two Elder Scrolls games have already been released by Beth for free, and I'm assuming Battlespire and Redguard will end up being offered in the same way some point in the near future. Morrowind would be a nice addition, but it's still pretty readily available and I imagine the negotiations for it would be nightmarish.

An insta-buy game for me would be if they found a way to get Worms Armageddon working with my built-in Intel graphics card. Frigging thing won't play right now, and that's been one of my favourite games since it was released.
Tie FIghter + X-Wing
System Shock 1 + 2
Grim Fandango
Ultima XI, Theme Hospital and anything Lucas arts ( Yes, i know they are not represented here just yet).

DarrkPhoenix: My backlog has gotten way too long to justify much in the way of insta-buys. At the moment the only insta-buy games I can think of would be TIE Fighter and Age of Empires 2.
Not sure if this is relevant to you and if you're totally against buying retail or if Age of Empires is just out of print where you are and the only copies available are absurdly expensive secondhand ones, but here in Germany you can get Age of Empires 1, Rise of Rome, Age of Empires 2 and the Conquerors Expansion for 10 euros, and the game is playable in English as well.
