Christmas sorta came early for me. I've already expended most of the money set aside on eBay shopping, weeks ago. Now, I'm mostly just treating myself to games on Gamersgate and GOG, and maybe buying a board game.

What about the rest of you? What are you getting for yourselves on Christmas?

I'm planning on getting... nothing. I really am! It'll be a test of will to restrain myself from adding to the pile of unplayed games. I have to whittle down the backlog and if I finally manage to do that and resist heavy temptation to buy on a whim and go through this Christmas without buying a single game for myself... then I'll... probably splurge next Christmas.
Sushi, sake and hookers.
So far since the Winter/Christmas sales started I've gotten:

- StarCraft II: liked it a lot but put it on hold for the moment.
- LIMBO : haven't played it yet but it looks awesome. I'm looking forward to it.
- Portal 2: haven't played it yet. I'm saving it for my holiday vacations next week.
- Indie Gala Bundle: haven't played any of the games yet.
- Bastion: I absolutely love this game. It has kept me away from other games last week and I don't plan to put it down until I finish New Game+
- X Superbox: got it yesterday but I don't know when I'll play it.
- Xmas Bundle (Indie Royale): got it today.

I'll definitely get the new Zelda game and some wishlisted games from GOG and GamersGate daily deals so I'm far from finished buying still.

Edit: forgot the hookers. I didn't think they counted :P

Not an answer you may be looking for, but some free time.
Just taking it slow for a week sound like heaven.

Oh, and some games for small change during the sales.

Everything I want. I had a horrible start to the year, almost lost my business, and after much stress and hard work, things are going well again. Not to sound like an entitled asshole, but I owe myself whatever games I want this Christmas.

What DD site can one get those from?

(Oh if only one could, I know I know.)

I'm gonna help you there, The Longest Journey
It's pretty good because I'm slowly going through my "to get" list. It's been filling up for the past few years, but now I guess I'm close to the end. Now these sales rarely produce anything really interesting for me. Then again, I can easily rack up a hefty bill if I go after games I "might" be interested in. Not this year though, this year I'm playing TIGHT.
Nothing :(

no $$$

What a coincidence. I'm getting the first 2 items next week with some buds. As for the 3rd one ... well I'm not at liberty to disclose details of my personal life xD
I have no idea. Perhaps the wolf pack (wolf 3d, spear of destiny and RTCW) if it goes on sale on steam.

I thought about VR Soccer 96, but then I realized I could get Fifa 99 and ISS 98 on n64 for the same $3. Two critically acclaimed games to play with a controller vs average game and keyboard.
Ultima 7 and Guilty Gear games from GoG.

Maybe the costume that I really want to get. :)
