I dont see very many of them on Gog, Im sure many have a fond memory of Zoombinies, Carmon Sandiago, the trail games (Oregan, Amazon, Yukon), games from TLC, or Knowledge adventure. Getting some of these games to run on modern computers is a pain, and I would love to pay for a digital version since the disks I had since a kid are all beat up.

I miss that game. I really should install it as I still have the install disks back home.

While we're at it, I really miss Are We There Yet. It was a great puzzle game and quite hard in places as one traveled the US learning about history and junk.

i used to play are we there yet with my dad, back in a time with no internet and no walkthroughs. if you are american it might be easy but if you are not its really hard and enjoyable.

Being American helps, but it was just a very hard game to complete. I never did manage to complete the game. Some of the puzzles were just fiendishly hard. I suppose I could have gone to a library for help with the research though.

I don't remember, I was playing that game like 20 years ago. Long before the internet was available to me. I probably still have some of the disks sitting around.

That would be awesome actually. I really enjoyed a lot of those "educational" games when I was young and it would be cool to have them somewhere for the future. Especially things like Oregon Trail or Carmen Sandiego would be awesome, and I would probably be likely to actually buy them for myself.

Never really heard about Are We There yet

Reading blaster and Math blaster were always fun, but I dont think they are accessible to older people, but it would be nice to buy it for a little kid sometime.
Games with a broader appeal would probably work better.

If you miss those, I still fondly remember Number Crunchers from the mid '80s.

I've often wanted them on here myself. I remember really enjoying "Life and Death" as an early teen and later heard there was a sequel to it; I never played it though.

Let's see -- Software Toolworks is Mindscape, which would ALSO have brought us the SSI games that everyone seems to want. According to Wikipedia. But, they're listed as defunct with a lot of their properties being split between EA and Ubi.

Broderbund seems to have had the same fate, most of its holdings now belonging to Ubi.
