I know the website is called Good Old Games. But what about indie games on GOG? I think they would love to publish there games on GOG.
I'm thinking of games like World of Goo and Osmos for example. Games like this are fun to play and are similar to old games (focused on gameplay).
What do you think?

Yeah, as it stands it's not in their mandate to bring in newer games. Maybe they'll change their mission statement though.

Cave Story! It's older than some of the games on here. It's also free though. Meh.
Yeah, I guess a lot of the really good commercial independent games have only really started to come out recently.

The GOG guys have stated numerous times that while they are not necessarily against the idea of getting games from indie developers on here, the focus at the moment is on the much more well-known games and publishers. Getting recognizable brands on here will grow GOG's business better than any indie could. Besides, as has already been mentioned, there are very few indie games games that really "qualify" as good old games; most aren't that old and the ones that are usually aren't that good.

I'm hoping for Puzzle Quest myself... It's two years old now, so we'd have to treat "being old" with as much leniency as Americans do "being 18", though ;P.

Well GOG can always start with one of the oldest indie games ever: Nethack. Free too.

Uh, no, but even so I still fail to see what that has to do with us Americans in particular, especially considering that "barely legal" porn refers to porn that features *ahem*... actresses... who are actually 18 (just turned 18, that is). I've encountered way more instances of age questionable porn from former Eastern Block nations than I ever have from the US. Seen any "Russian Teens" porn lately?
