We've recorded moving pictures and sound for you to watch!

Hey! For all those to busy to check GOG.com every day, and those who like our announcements in a nice little audiovisual package, GOG.com is happy to present [url=http://youtu.be/UkHn--STc5A]This Week on GOG--new, funky, and fresh video that showcases the whole GOG-week (new releases, promos, and special events) in just few minutes.

Please let us know what do you think about the first episode of This Week on GOG. This is something completely new we're doing and we're willing to change to make you happier. Write comments on video page and in the forums--we're reading all of this!

Thanks for watching and see you (watch you?) next Friday!
As crazy as it sounds, I was a little disheartened that you didn't acknowledge Bioforge in the video. I know you didn't want to cram too much together, but a little reference would have been nice.

mistermumbles: I guess I really need to check out this video when I have a better connection available. This Wifi on the train is barely passable.
Wow. This post calls for a "first world problem" meme :-)

Dude, working Wi-Fi on the train. Never happened to me. Irish bus, yes, but never a train.

Aw, you're right. That's only because of the conference week being so damn busy. We plan to include every single release in the video on regular basis. Surely Bioforge deserved a mention!

Shared on Facebook and Twitter. Continue these recap videos. :)

Can I subjugate my own concerns about the lack of OLD games on the "New and Coming" section (aside from Bioforge; I don't really count Blitzkrieg 2), as well as the lack of any being released during the conference, by telling myself that you guys were very busy with preparing the classics for Mac and the Interplay promo? :) I was going to create a thread about this expressing some concern, but obviously I don't want to overreact ("GOG's losing sight of their heritage!"). :P

EDIT From Reddit: "That's one of the great things about GOG.com-- they license out-of-print titles, clean them up to run on modern systems, and sell them to people that otherwise wouldn't get to experience them. In many cases they're able to include other materials like soundtracks and digital copies of maps and manuals that would be difficult or impossible to purchase any other way."

Guys, something is wrong. 65 posts and no irrational complaint posts. We need more people saying that GOG is being misleading, or making a big deal of things they should be doing anyway, etc.

You're losing it, GOG users!

Great video, GOG. I love you guys like I love chocolate. You are sweet and delicious.
Man, I wish gog would spend more time getting good old games on the site instead of whatever they are doing now. I feel more than a little alienated.
Great video, but you didn't mention the free Warsow!
I'm lukewarm to the idea, but mainly because I haven't seen anything about old games... it gives me the impression GOG.com is getting more and more distance between itself and the original "GOG: good old games" ... I hope I'm wrong.

PS
Also, no offense but in my opinion you could use a clearer and catchier voice for the video...
Are you guys at GOG going to post a normal (or not so normal) download link for those of us who don't go to youtube?

User name is appropriate. ;)
Such a good idea. I really liked this video. Though, as mentioned before, Bioforge was overlooked. I look forward to seeing these on a regular basis.
Not a fan of the idea. I'm already subscribed to the RSS feed, so I don't need recap videos on top of it. I think you should invest your marketing monies elsewhere.

Made me laugh, thanks.

Great idea and execution, gog.
Great idea.
GOG ftw.
