+1 GOG many thanks.

An idea. How about mentioning the PR stuff you've done that isn't on the GOG site! All the interviews on other websites etc and link to them, afterall, everything that was mentioned in the video was/has already been on the site - so its doesnt really *add* anything just collates it.
Hope Im not being too picky - it is the first one after all :)

PS The GOG commerical was v.funny, keep up the great work GOG

Actually... I tried to voice our first in-house test episode of TWOGOG. It only seemed logical, as I'm writing the script and I know it by heart. I even have some acting experience and did some radio work back in college. But the problem is--I'm not a native speaker. Have you seen yesterday's conference? Imagine TWOGOG is anchored by Marcin Iwiński. Sure--polish people are understandable while speaking in English. Especially to other polish people, I imagine ;-) But let me tell you this--when I heard my test recording I was like...

So: no. Not now. Probably not ever. :-)

But i think it would make a difference. There are so many American voice overs in games, it would make a change to hear something different. I have also noticed some of you guys from Poland, Czech Republic etc seem to be self conscious about how your voice and use of language is to English speakers. I find it interesting to hear more obscure accents. Follow your dream (i'd have loved to be a voice actor). Even if it's just a cameo role as an extra, do it!

Yesterday was an interesting mix of different accents. First polish followed by french and then german. And at the end Mike with his deep voice ;-) Personally I don't think it wouldn't hurt to show this international mix also in your videos, but I think it's hard for a non-native speaker to record such a video every week, because you always feels the need to check every pronunciation again. But maybe this video can give you a little bit more self-esteem - if you understand everything you can be sure there should be no problem for you too ;-)

Tell you what, I give kudos to anyone who is not a native English speaker, and has a decent grasp to speak, and understand it spoken to them. As a native speaker that grew up with it, I often notice all of the double entendres, homonyms, "exceptions to the rule", odd line structure, compared to some other languages I have been exposed to (French, Thai, Spanish, Italian) and I can fully appreciate those that can sucessfully navigate it. As happy as I am that it is considered the "universal" language (thankfully for me, lol), it truly makes me scratch my head that it is!

Watching this video made me think GOG should have included a fun little contest to help draw viewers to their latest feature.

At the start of the video 36 games are displayed in a 6x6 grid. People could announce the number of games they think they can identify and then GOG could PM those with the highest numbers to see who can correctly name the most. Winner gets a free game, say, under $5.

Personally, I only recognize two of them, and can name the series for three more.

I do agree with someone above who mentioned that seeing a game in action gives a better sense of a game than screenshots alone.

I agree with that. I'm interested in languages, and spent time in school studying French, Spanish and Latin, and have tried to pick up a few words in Turkish and Japanese. I have respect and patience for anyone trying to speak English, just as I appreciate people having patience with me when I try to speak their language. I know many Americans aren't so tolerant, but studying different languages makes me appreciate how hard it is to communicate in a foreign tongue.

Not bad! Love the Witcher news, now let's get Darklands working on Mac, the fact that I can't take it with me everywhere is the reason I've never finished that game.

Okay fine I lied it's because the game's too hardcore for me. But I can practice on the Macbook!
I really like the idea of a weekly video, though I wouldn't mind if it was possible to have something like a next weeks teaser thing for an idea on what to expect the coming week.
I'm sure it's been mentioned already, but a transcript or just general summary would be nice in text.
Yeah, I really like the idea and the execution was pretty amazing. Tons of news and new contents, thanks GOG!
I guess I really need to check out this video when I have a better connection available. This Wifi on the train is barely passable.
