Whiteblade999: How about a disciples style weekend promo with Disciples 1 and 2.

Had one already =) That's why I bought both those here despite owning them on Steam already. Still, it'd be nice to see them included in a promo again in the future for those who don't have them yet.
They just need to take a look at your peronal wishlist (provided you use it). However, they can't make it just for you, so every week there should be the week of someone else, making it kinda long to carry out...
How about a GOG competition where the winner gets to select up to 3 or so games for a weekend promo named after that user? As to what you'd have to do to win such a competition? I'm sure the GOG guys and gals can think of something devious enough...

Not a bad idea. Knowing the GOG staff, maybe they're even up for it :-).
What I was thinking about is... maybe there could be a personal wishlist promo? For the, say, first three games in your personal wishlist at the start of the promo, you get 25% discount. (I don't think it is quite viable, though; it might be difficult (and resource-heavy...) to set up a monitoring system for this occasion.)

I like that idea. In fact I've already thought of the first one, the Aliasalpha Tactical Shooter Promotion. The contents of the ATSP are as follows:
IGI 2: Covert Strike
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six
Every game ever put on GOG promo. Total price: $1.00

Sure thing, if you care to pay GOG's loss... :-)

Why? You could be GOG's first national hero!

"National"? Since when was GOG a country?

It isn't yet, but maybe someone will get the funny idea of realising some of the ideas in the "If the GOG forums were a real place..." thread and found it in some yet-uninhabited area. Then, you could be the first national hero for using your cash for fellow goggers' good.
As for where such a country could be founded... Sahara desert? Some Carribean islands?

Maybe we could all pitch in and buy one of the artificial islands from The World.

Good idea.
Beyond Good and Evil, Beyond Good and Evil, Beyond Good and Evil, Beyond Good and Evil, Beyond Good and Evil, Beyond Good and Evil, etc...
What you'd pair it with, I don't know. Though personally I'd rather you DIDN'T pair similar games together. I don't often want to buy 2 games of the same type at the same time, I like to mix up my games.
Mix them up based on other tenuous connections, but not genre.
Oh, I know, Unreal...
"Beyond good and Unreal" ;-)
