Get Thief, Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Soul Reaver, and more Square Enix titles 50% off!

If you read the tagline, what more is there really to add? Our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/square_enix_weekend_promo_080213]Ultimate Square Enix promo offers you the chance to get games from some of the most exciting series with a nice 50% off discount. Square Enix catalog features some of the most impressive gems in the GOG.com offer. Titles that evoke memories and emotions in thousands and thousands of gamers. The character cast of the Square Enix stable alone is impressive enough to make one's heart race. If GOG.com had a red carpet, celebrities such as Lara Croft, Garret the Master Thief, Agent 47, Kain and Raziel, and JC Denton would arrive to walk it on a limousine marked by Square Enix logo. Let's take a quick look at the featured games, shall we?

Lara Croft is the ever-shining star of the Tomb Raider series. Lately her character has undergone some major changes. Here, we give you a chance to spend some quality time with good--erm--classic Lara. Tomb Raider 1+2+3, Tomb Raider: Last Revelation + Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness sum up all of the miss Croft's early career, for only $4.99 each!

Yet another hero who is a fan of property re-assignment concept, Garret the Thief is now preparing a big return. On GOG.com you can catch up wit all of his adventures, as long as you can keep up with him, as he silently moves through the shadows. Thief Gold, Thief 2: The Metal Age, and Thief 3: The Deadly Shadows let you experience the life of a thievery archmaster, for only $4.99 each!

Also preferring to keep a low-profile, Agent 47 is the main character of the Hitman series. The newest game featuring the bald assassin brought a lot of new ideas to the table, and not all of them met with gamers' appreciation. We give you first two classic Hitman games: Hitman: Codename 47 for only $2.99 and Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, for only $4.99!

That's only a small taste of the Square Enix title you can get 50% off this weekend. Head out to our Ultimate Square Enix promo page, to check out the whole offer!

Below, you'll find a new episode of This Week on GOG, a short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. By the way, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on Youtube, so you won't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.

Having the LEGACY OF KAIN series that is here so far is really good. Yet I just want to ask what is holding up the original Blood Omen being added here too?
Was is not owned by the same people?
Why would you WANT to avoid thief? Jump in!
I bought Thief Deadly Shadows and because of the drama here I researched Startopia (never heard of it) and bought a copy of that. It looks like fun. How about Thief 2? Is that better than Deadly Shadows?

keeveek: Just from the fact, GOG staff doesn't do anything to interfere, it doesn't change the fact Licurd is a douchebag and should be called Liturd instead
Honestly, seeing keeveek calling someone else douchebag made my day.

According to a post waaay back it seems there is licensing issues, probably having to do with the fact that BO 1 was made by Silicon Knights and Published by Activision so it's possible that either or owns the rights to the PC version.
Despite being a huge System Shock 2 and Looking Glass Studios Thief fan, I've actually never played Dues Ex.

Guess with this promo it's time to stop putting it off and see if it's worth the hype.
I don't understand the big hubub about tet's comments. I thought they were fine.
Dude is obviously too busy to help gameon right now because he is performing surgery on an airplane and that shit is stressful. So back off jesus

The older Thief's are a lot better than Deadly Shadows (methinks). Plus, they have a richer modding base : http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106781#Most%20often%20recommended/Must%20play

I'll be honest, I had never really played Thief until last November because I had been turned off to the whole sneaksy thiefsy thing when I was younger. I got through all three, and like the first two the best.

You can't go wrong with Garrett.

CymTyr: TET you really should watch what you say about mental illness. It may be legal in your formerly communist country to make fun of people with disabilities, but here in the US it is against the law.
Huh?

At no point has TET made fun of people with disabilities. If someone has paranoia, it is not unreasonable to suggest that they are being paranoid. He can't do anything to stop someone from feeling paranoid, but he can assure them that it is not anywhere close to an actual death threat.

Nope, don't use that option. I'm one of the guys that remember you calling, quite a while back, another user disagreeing with you a nazi just because he was from Germany. So you know pot and kettle situation?

Well, you must be helluva fan of me :-) Because you remember things I long forgot. But I may be a douchebag, I couldn't care less...

Is calling douchebag a douchebag means nothing if another douchebag calls him that?

If Ted Bundy called Ted Kaczynski a murderer it would suddenly make it untrue, or what? :D btw. you're a douchebag too, if you post once in a year only to remind somebody that he's a douchebag too ;P

Douchebaggyception...

Actually, it's something like three times a year :) And by no means I was defending Licurg, simply pointed out something :)
Well, that was some hilarious drama over sweet fuck all. GG, guys.

Anyway, Legacy of Kain is tempting...but, without a job, I'm trying to be picky with my games at the moment so I think I'm quite likely to pass for now. Seen the bundle go on such a sale plenty of times, though, so I'll put the series on my "to buy" list.
