Don't really have an interest in any of these, was let down by the 'strategy' title in the promo only to find simulations and pinball games - was hoping for the UFO games to be promoed this weekend since all three are now available...
Wish I had a joystick -_-
I'm used to playing everything on keyboard and mouse, even games said to be very annoying without a gamepad, but simulators really need it. I'll have to buy these games when I get one.
Too bad I don't know when that's going to happen :\
And now I wait until 6 PM for my check.
I highly recommend Comanche v Hokum ( or Enemy Engaged as its org titile). very detailed, very realistic.. lots of fun. at 2,99 , I can forgo a cup of coffee.. ;) I already owned it , but bought again cos of the cd free world I try to live in ;)

Helicopter sims like this can be played and preferably so on a keyboard. I much prefer playing this on a keyboard to my joystick or gamepad. . if only cos there are a trillion things to look after ;). It is a very very realistic and complex simulator.

I found DarkStar One to be tons of fun and would recommend it to anyone.

Hm... Now I will really think about it.
Thank you for your opinion!

Can you give some spoilers for the middle/final part of the game? I've played it for like 30 minutes or so, so I would like to know how it is in the later parts.

I have the two heli sims already, and am deciding between DarkStar One and the three pinball titles...
Just a few days ago I voted for "Pro Pinball: The Web" on the wishlist, because I'm interested in having all the pinball games here. :)

Three4Flinching: Is there anyone else that finds it a little ironic that there is not a single strategy game in the promo?:P

"Strategy First" is the name of the publisher, of the games in this promo. ;)

The gameplay is largely the same throughout the game, although you get to upgrade your weapons, so it's satisfying to keep playing the game. The story isn't really memorable, but at the end you do a sort of Death Star trench run ripoff. What I found satisfying was the flying along with the semi-open world nature of the game, which kept me interested through a forgettable story.

I also would recommend installing the free mod package from eechcentral.com http://www.eechcentral.com/files/allmods/eech-allmods-1.13.0.exe

Some amazing textures for cockpits added and a lot of fixes. Good Luck!
Okay, my budget is a little limited so I'm taking only one of them for now, unless it convinces me to get the other before the sale is over. Which one is better, CvsH or AvsH?
So much Comanche 3 nostalgia...
I was struggeling with myself, but finally I've bought DarkStar One. I already have it on DVD but it's secured with StarForce and I wasn't able to play without DVD (playing with it is annoying). So - 4.99 $ with a chance to win on a lottery -I asked myself "Why not to buy?" I wish GOG bundled it's promotions with "free time to play included" service :-)
