City manager, space explorer, omnipotent entity, or a keeper of a humorous dungeon--whichever way you want to play, you’re the master.

Rule the EA Worlds! Decide which of the EA classic worlds you want to rule (or rule them all!) and get 50% off on GOG.com during this weekend’s promo. This promo ends next Monday, May 21 11:59 PM EDT

Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri is a space-based spin-off from the legendary Civilization series. Alpha Centauri is a 4X turn-based strategy at genre’s best: build, colonize, produce, research, and kill in a fantastic sci-fi world. Whether you’re a technology-loving Academician or a Chairman whose goal is to crush his people under the burden of neural stapling, you can get this fantastic startegy game from GOG.com for just $2.99.

SimCity 2000 Special Edition is a sequel to a ground-breaking SimCity, and it improves on the original in every aspect. As a mayor of an isometric city, you need to create a hi-tech metropolis starting from the smallest village. Setting up streets, houses, commercial facilities, preparing your city for disasters, setting up taxes, and managing other aspects of everyday city running--SimCity 2000 life is a tough nut to crack. Create the best city ever for only $2.99 on GOG.com.

Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2 form a pair of wonderfully evil and hellishly entertaining RTS-sim games in which you’re in charge of an underground empire. Set up deadly traps, recruit demons and imps, and send the gloriously hapless holy heroes straight to heaven. There’s never been a game that offered so much fun when you’re being the bad guy, probably thanks to tons of dark humor and addictive gameplay. Rule your very own nightmare dungeon for only $2.99.

, designed by the famous Peter Molyneux, is a ‘god-sim’ that places you in a game of world domination between the gods. You need to use your divine powers to control and award your followers or punish and destroy the non-believers with a goal to destroy other player’s enemy forces. Flooding, lightning, earthquake--you’re omnipotent so it’s only up to you how to shepherd your people. [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/populous_2]Populous 2: Trials of the Olympian Gods follows its almighty predecessor with more spells, an enhanced interface, and adding a character development system. You’re now son of Zeus and need to battle your way through the Greek pantheon. Kill all the gods for only $2.99 this weekend on GOG.com.
If only Theme Hospital and Populous: The Beginning were part of the promo, now I already have all the interesting ones.

Remember, in Poland people pay for English lessons... XD
Now if only you had a 'checkbox' where you could choose to split the gift into different codes for each game, instead of having to... you now make multiple purchases! :(

*is lazy*
*gets to a triple gift purchase*
Dungeon Keeper 2, you are mine now :)

adambiser: Looks like another wishlist item completed, even if it isn't marked as such:
http://www.gog.com/en/wishlist/site/add_timercountdown_to_events_and_sales
It's been implemented for "sales" but perhaps not for "events"?

On the other hand, it isn't even marked as "in progress".

It seems you really want the new job from gog, so you started to correct the whole forum (including mods) to show your skills ;-) Maybe we should help you, so I suggest that every user should include at least three misspellings in every post. By this way also my own errors are better hidden ;-)

tburger: 4 games from the promo are on my wishlist
Hm, 4 of these games were made by Bullfrog, 4 of these games are on your wishlist... do I see a pattern here? ;)

Btw, good Promo. Already own the Bullfrog games but Sim City and Alpha Centauri are definitely among the games I always wanted to play more extensively. Bought.

Are there events coming up? I guess I missed the announcement for the announcement. :) Maybe the preorders, but I'm not sure those count, plus their release time might not be known.

EDIT: More than likely they were going to implement it anyway and didn't notice that it was added to the wishlist...

My need to correct people is intrinsic to my personality and, thus, none shall be spared! :D

"This way, also, my own errors are better hidden"

What, you thought I would limit myself to spelling mistakes alone? :P

Pardon me for posting this here but I feel this isn't getting enough attention in the Classfields thread

Have:

2 Mass Effect 3 Prothean DLC codes from the Collector's edition and 2 Mass Effect 3 Online Passes

All on PS3 for the EU region, all unused and brand new

Want:

Any of the 3 Dollar EA promo games, except the first dungeon keeper that I own

you get both the Prothean DLC and Online pass for only 3 Dollars!

Cheap as chips for you, I get rid of something I don't need - Both of us Win

Not that I know of, I was just referring to the wishlist item. I'd guess releases are known for the most part though, I'm quite sure all "coming soon"-listed games are either confirmed to work on all test machines or they know how to make it work, in both cases a release date can be set and there is a standard release time (though releases seem to be a manual switch as it often deviates from that time).

Likely, it only has 3 votes after all.

Simplex: I wanted to buy DK2, but the two most helpful reviews say that the port is horrible, not compatible with Win7. If that's true, then I'll pass.
That actually reminded me to download it now and try it myself, if it is really as bad as some people make it out to be.

Gorky17 has had lots of similar complaints as if the game (GOG version) is useless currently, but as I tried it myself (and I am currently playing it), in my opinion the GOG release is quite fine, unless some people are unable to run the game at all.

But, let's see how I feel about DK2...
Where's Populous: The Beginning ?

I don't own these games :

Dungeon Keeper™
Dungeon Keeper™ 2
Populous™
Populous™ 2: Trials of the Olympian Gods

Yep, that's why I'm leaning toward that explanation. Not that it matters. It's just nice to see it there now. :)
Bought DK2, have it on disk, but it's scratched beyond use.
