I'm glad GOG was able to get them back for this short time, it's a shame it's not permanent though. Painkiller and Aquanox belong on GOG

MadalinStroe: Well... damn... It's unfortunate that this comes after TWO HUGE SALES. I'm all out, flat broke. Would have loved to get Gothic and Painkiller, as I have all the others I'm interested in.

Grargar: I can relieve some of your pain. You'll find something that kills it in your PM.
Unbelievably generous of you, Grargar. Thank you very much!
Received and redeemed!
A real shame that no deal has been struck to keep them long term. The deal is nice, but it would be nicer to have them as permanent additions again.

Sounds like a viking porno.
Or a Viking brothel. :P

Andanzas: Does anyone know when Severance: Blade of Darkness (or Blade: The Edge of Darkness) was removed from GOG? I noticed only this last sale, when I tried to purchase it. Was it removed for the same reasons as these Nordic games?
I think you should read this thread, it answers your question(s):

Nope. It was removed because Codemasters lost the license for the game and could no longer distribute it. It was removed on 14 October.

Wow. A 1.5 hour notice. No wonder I missed it. Oh well. I hope it comes back sometime.

Thank you for your answer.

zeffyr: Guys working on 'removed from GOG' list will have much work ;-) Good to see them back, even for few days.
Done already. Will just copy-paste my stuff when they are removed again.

Thank you as well! I didn't see your reply at first.
There appears to be a bug in relation to Silver... if I pick only Silver, it's €1.19. But if I add any other game from this set to my cart at the same time, then Silver will revert to its original price of €4.79 !?!
OH M GEEEE!
My wallet hurts but it feels so good...
Thank you GOG.

ThomNG: Just enjoy this special promotion GOG and we decided to do as a Christmas gift.

Just as the question has occured: the 3 titles which have not disappeared - The Book of Unwritten Tales, The Critter Chronicles and The Raven - will stay live even after that promotion - I just wanted to have them included, so that you can enjoy the great KING Art titles at a great price for the next weeks until The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 will be released. The rest of the catalogue will again go offline after this sale.

Hope you like this option anyways.
Cheers & happy holidays in advance!
Thank you for the offer again, I wish the games could stay. But if even games as new as Spellforce 2: Demons of the Past had to be removed, does it mean that Nordic cannot bring new, non-KING Art games here anymore? I was hoping games like Darksiders and Red Faction: Guerrilla could still come here one day.

This bug also occurs when you already have the game, meaning that you can't even purchase it at a discounted price as a gift.
This is quite a weird little deal with Nordic.. also we don't have any money left after 2 promos lol.
Anyway, it's better than nothing.
Hi, thanks for the promo opportunity GOG. I am new to the concept of how 'missing games that make a comeback' work so if anyone can enlighten me please do as soon as possible thanks, either here or PM. My hypothetical is this: let's say I take advantage and buy something like Gothic 2 Gold Edition for cheap ($1.49) and it's in my library, available for download anytime I want as is typical for games in my library. The issue is, because this game is a temporary catalog item and will be gone after Dec. 23, will it still be in my library available to download anytime (after Dec. 23) I want since it is gone from the catalog? Just my personal thoughts, but if I can't download it anytime I want AFTER I bought it, that seems unfair since real money was spent to attempt to play/own the game. I would rather not invest in it if that is the case. Let me know at one's convenience thanks.
