Grargar: You don't need any Guild 2 other than Rennaisance. Having said that, Rennaisance doesn't come with either a manual or a tutorial that can ease you into learning it, but this can be fixed by trying out Guild II's demo (which does have a tutorial).
The next massive & official update is supposed to insert the tutorial from The Guild 2 base game. If I read correctly this patch should be out soon (as in this week).

edit- Whoops the 4.20 patch is smoking now.

Since this sale will be over in a little while I'll say farewell to the Nordic catalog now. It will be missed. Hopefully things will eventually work out between GOG and Nordic.

The new gulid 2: renaissance patch is out but it's not compatible with GOGs version. The patch is for 4.00 to 4.20, but GOG is on 4.15 so it doesn't recognise it.
