JamesBond007: Maybe Nordic wants regional pricing without Fair Price Package (unacceptable by GOG) and they already know what VPNs are? It this is the case, then bringing them back "permanently" won't be easy.
This doesn't make any sense. Why would *any* publisher care whether GOG gives its own money back to its users?
Would Nordic be open to the possibility of OTHER Nordic games (newer) being added?
I get that they want regional pricing for all (screw all the dirty foreigners amirite?), but with newer games why not just add them with regional pricing?

Three different people tell me a game out of this Nordic sale that you want, and I'll buy you a copy (one game per person).

Just let me know what you want and I'll PM you a code :)
I've always wanted the Book of Unwritten Tales...
EDIT: Also are you looking forward to the Last Christmas?

Licurg: Gothic 2 , Red Faction, The Guild, Summoner, Painkiller, any or all of the Spellforce games and Desperados .
Out of The Guild games, would you consider the newest one (2: Renaissance) to be the best out of the series? If I have this one alone, would I be missing out on anything?

Also, others have mentioned it, but what makes the Spellforce series so good? There's also so many of them and I was curious if it would make any difference on which one to get (not taking Graphics into account).

Never played the Guild 2, sry . But the first one is a masterpiece, and I heard the second one isn't so great .

Spellforce games are Mixed RPG/RTS games, where you can alternate between a normal RTS perspective, and a hack'n slash one where you control your hero(es) directly . If you can only buy one, buy Shadow Wars .

I'm curious about this too. The completionist in me says I have to buy Spellforce 2: Demons of the Past, and it just seems wrong to have a lone game in the card, so I need to pick it some company.

I've not played any of the Guild games at all. According to a post earlier in this thread, with regards to Guild 2, Renaissance apparently includes everything you need to experience the Guild 2, except for a tutorial and a complete manual. The manual is available elsewhere.

I wind up with two questions:

1) is it worth playing both Guilds? The completionist in my wants to buy both, and then my COD (Chronological Order Disorder) will pretty much require me to play The Guild before The Guild 2.

2) is there any reason to own The Guild 2 Base and Pirates of the European Seas as well as Renaissance? Is Renaissance really kind of a Guild 2 "Complete"?

You don't need any Guild 2 other than Rennaisance. Having said that, Rennaisance doesn't come with either a manual or a tutorial that can ease you into learning it, but this can be fixed by trying out Guild II's demo (which does have a tutorial).

Thank you! Renaissance it is.

Ah... I bought a whole bunch more. Over 100 games stored up now.

My plan is to wait a few months for all the quick giveaways to be over, and then start divvying them up. :)
