wolfsrain: If i remember correct, only Faith in Destiny did not allow the import of previous characters. Dragon Storm and DotP are allowing a partial import.
Partial import.. sigh.

Thanks again wolfsrain, but also...

Well, I have enough of the Nordic Games to get an 85 % discount for the ones I don't have.

At these prices, I should probably pick up a few more titles from this promo, just as collectables...

So... which is a better set of adventure games, for someone who doesn't really play point-and-click adventures: Black Mirror 1 and 2 or Dark Fall 1 and 2?

Edit... Forget I asked, I got both series. :D

I would have had to get 20 games for 20$ to get the 90 % discount, so I got 7 I might actually play for 10$.

Can't really justify buying the whole catalog for four games even though i'll lose 5% of the discount.

How are The Book of Unwritten Tales: The critter chronicles and the Desperados games? Any good?

Both the Desperados games good, and are worth getting, especially since there are very few Western themed strategy games...

Desperados 1 is really hard but really good. Much better than the Commandos serie on many points, like the AI, the gameplay (quick action function is the main good idea of the game) or the wild west missions.
I can't speak about Desperados 2 : Cooper's revenge because I don't own it :(

Only four games interesting for me:
- Summoner
- Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods
- Desperados series

I have already the whole Gothic series (except Gothic 3: FG) at DotEmu.

Already got:
- Painkiller
- Red Faction 2 // much better in gameplay terms than RF1
- Aquanox
- Aquanox 2
- Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammer // much better, than the first one
- Chaser // solid game, sadly we wont see a second installment, so most people will feel the ending is open-ended, hehe :)

Thanks GOG.
i have Pusher a small game, seems its also from Nordic Games
i bought it awhile on GG (drm free)

its a kind of puzzle/casual game, small but fun...

als have neighbours from hell 1 and 2
Is it true that gift codes bought during this sale will never expire? (The one I got said so.) Can they still be redeemed long after the games have been removed from the catalogue again?

So Nordic was removed from the Catalog but they're back for a promo... um, how does that make sense at all?

Yes, they can still be redeemed. Buy without any fear.

So just as I thought my wallet was finally free from the evil grip of the GOG sales, THIS happens...

If there's any fellow out there who already owns all the games featured in this sale - and is willing to help a broke GOG brother out - please PM me. Please note I'm not asking for free games, just a little favor. :)
How does Spellforce 2 compare to Spellforce 1?
Just to mention it, I played Aquanox for 2 hours. It supports 1920x1080 out of the box without problems on my system and runs like a charm.

I consider it quite inferior to Schleichfahrt, which is the prequel I guess, there is not such a sinister atmosphere, nor the freedom you had playing good old Flint.

But in the missions you have the old Schleichfahrt feeling back, a good game.

PS

you can also edit the difficulty of the game on the fly in the options
