truhlik: Yay, probably last chance to buy Jack Keane 2, for some time:)
I'm tempted to... It's the only one in the lot I don't have already... I'm trying to think of any I want to gift to a friend, but they generally don't like them like I do.

gixgox: Thanks, I thought I had read somewhere in the past that they had changed that rule and give a separate code for each game.
Before the redesign, if you made a multi-game purchase, you were forced to redeem all the games you didn't have. After the redesign, you can select which of the games you don't already have to redeem.

JudasIscariot: We still offer support for all of our removed titles on a case-by-case basis :)

eiii: Even deliver the missing language packs?

Sorry, but I doubt it.
Language packs are beyond us and require the agreement of a given publisher. Sorry but we can't just add things as we please, as much as we'd like to :(

viperfdl: Hey, don't you have something more important to do, like flagging games as updated?

Give him a break. He's on vacation. :P
So, is part of the reason for this sale an exploratory move to see if people clamour for the games back, regardless of the pricing scheme? In other words, if the preponderance of replies is "please bring this back", then GOG can justify relaxing the regional pricing rule to do so?

I'm not make a value judgement here with these questions, just curious. Honestly, given the inexorable move towards regional pricing, they may as well come back that way rather than not at all. Though it reflects badly on Nordic either way, since for so long they were happy to sell them at a flat price.

Grargar: The confusion I'm getting isn't from the general promo, but from Silver. Is it discounted by 75% or 85%? If it's by 75%, then why does 85% appear on the promo page? If it's by 85%, then why does the discounted price ($1.49) appear as being affected by 75%. Add the no-discount glitch for me and this damn game can cause quite a bit of confusion.
After dinking around with the checkboxes on the promo page, I'm confident my original guess on the 75% vs 85% display is correct; the programmer(s) set two variables for the display, one would be 90% for the full list, and the other is 85% for a partial list. Spellforce is showing a price appropriate for 85% off, and the 85% discount display. Black Mirror is showing a price appropriate for 75% off, and the 85% discount display. That would be one bug.

Looks like Silver has a different issue. If you have more than 10 games selected, Silver's price loses the discount. If you select the entire list, then the 90% discount kicks in. Silver counts as one of those 10 games (so it will jump if it is the 11th game selected). It also looks like Silver is the only game affected by this.

Caveats: I haven't bought any of these games (yet). I've only looked at the promo page; I haven't bothered checking the Checkout Now page (maybe everything is correct there).

And again, you too? :(

And they still are happy to sell them flat price, on SL.

Leroux: *snip*
You made the comment jokingly and it wasn't nasty, you should see the other hysteric thread for that. I also still hope that we may someday see the Nordic games back for good and also flat priced but I wouldn't bet on it based on recent return of frictional games as regionally priced.

As for the games, being an adventure game fan I was definitely interested in The Black Mirror games as a lot of folks have vouched for their quality, no idea though about the others but Spellforce also seems to receive a lot of praise. :)

Sorry, but in this circumstance I'm a pragmatist. I reserve my idealism for more meaningful causes where the betterment of humanity is at stake. Granted, there is an economic justice aspect to the regional pricing issue, and thus why I take a stand to keep the information available. But I can't dash my keel against the rocks for that when there are far more treacherous waters to navigate.

Quite obnoxious of them, that. Though it fits right in with their "excuse" that they had to stop selling with flat prices on GOG because people (i.e., other vendors) were noticing the difference. One supposes that SL is too small to register on that radar.

I see - it would have been nice, though.

I will wait and see Nordic's reaction if/when ShinyLoot and GamesRepublic introduce regional currency.

It is because Shinyloot doesn't offer local currency options, one of the main reasons for Nordic not selling their games here long term at a flat price.

EDIT: As IAmSinistar and Gragar said, I should read more before posting. :)

What's the matter with the first part of Gothic series? Why it's not discounted at all? It wasn't for a long time.
