G-Doc: Which game would that be? Dark Fall 2 or Panzer Elite?

If it's Dark Fall 2, I can confirm that it is compatible with Win7. The gamecard should be updated shortly. Pancer Elite looks good so far, but we're still tasting it to ensure support.

TurnipSlayerr: It tastes delicious so far. Could use some salt though.

Sorry...
Damn. I've spilled the beans on one of our most covert company secrets. Yes, I confirm that we test game compatibility by feeding them to Turnip Slayer. Then we examine him closely for any signs of weird rashes. If there's none--we check the box for Win 7 compatibility on the gamecard.
ITT: GOG.com staff members slack off work on a Friday afternoon :)

Tpiom: The one game I want isn't officially Win7 compatible. It's really iffy when they are reaching for Win8 compatibility faster than Win7... especially when most people are still using Win8.

It's actually Panzer Elite.

Of course it gets complicated to tell when there are rashes which originate from other sources. This is why there are sometimes problems with compatability.

Do we ever NOT slack off work? Right guys?

Oh, just me then?

I'll pack my things.
"You can get it now game can be yours for $13.39"

Run-on sentence?

I can see no rash on any part of TurnipSlayerr.
Thanks, Turnip. Dress up. Now off with you.

We confirm that Panzer Elite is Win7 compatible. The gamecard will be updated shortly.
The rash that TurnipSlayer got from the early builds of Anachronox was truly a horror to behold. We had to duct tape boxing gloves to his hands so he wouldn't claw off all his skin.

Poor TurnipSlayer. ;__;
*sigh* look, I'd gladly go for the Book of Unwritten Tales, Gothic 3 and more, but English only for games that are originally German?
Once again: thanks, but no thanks.

I might finally go for Painkiller, but to tell you the truth, this English only business is getting increasingly frustrating for me (and you know I'm not the only one), so now I'm not even sure about that - mind you this isn't about Painkiller being English only (despite having been developed by a Polish dev) given that its setting appears to be U.S. based anyways, plus it's not exactly heavily reliant on dialogue... unlike adventures and rpgs -_-

Especially since Nordic Games themselves claimed they have given GOG.com a multi-language version for some of their games.
I would really like to know what happened there. Is GOG.com just too lazy to add additional languages? Do they refuse it on principal, or out of spite? Or is Nordic Games lying?
But we've never gotten any sort of comment on the language issue from GOG.com.

There are a few games from my wishlist in this sale, and I'm looking for your opinions, so...

I'm only gonna buy one game, but should I get Gothic 2, Gothic 3, Spellforce Platinum, The Guild, or The Nations??? Help me choose please!

keeveek: Nobody answered my question if it's worth to buy Alien Nations if I already have the sequel.

And I just bought it.

You bastards.
Mwahahahahaha!

I haven't played all of those but Gothic 2 is a great RPG and Gothic 3 is solid too. If you've played Gothic 1 before, go ahead and get Gothic 2 next. Otherwise I'd suggest playing Gothic 1 first (which I know is not on sale right now).
