Waxworks, Downfall, Secret Agent, Chaos Overlords, and many other classics up to 70% off!

Hear ye, hear ye! In case you missed it, spring has arrived and with it comes our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/spring_weekend_promo_160514]May Myriad of Games!! This weekend we are offering a cornucopia of classic titles, ranging from horror in a living wax museum, a cyberpunk dystopia with turn-based gang warfare to a post-apocalyptic point-and-click adventure where Man is a mostly a myth. The temperatures are high (unless you are in rainy Europe) but the prices are low! Let's take a look at the classics we've got lined up for you!

and [url=http://www.gog.com/game/the_cat_lady]The Cat Lady. Usually, when we write about these kind of promos, we mention one game at a time in these blurbs but these two games should be played together, starting with and then [url=http://www.gog.com/game/the_cat_lady]The Cat Lady. In Downfall, you, as Joe Davis, will explore a hotel that isn't quite what it seems and you'll encounter many twists and tuns that may warp your psyche just a tad. In The Cat Lady, set in the same universe as Downfall, you'll take on the role of Susan Ashworth as you come to grips with the reality of depression and battle against five Parasites, ruthless psychopaths that wear human forms. If you're a fan of Remigiusz Michalski's psychological horror, you can't pass these stylish adventures by!

Before he was known as the greatest ladies man to grace the Earth, Duke Nukem had his humble beginnings in Duke Nukem 1 +2. With classic side-scrolling platforming action, you'll go through Duke's first forays into video gaming fame. Battle against the fantastically evil Dr. Proton, get kidnapped and fight back against zombifying aliens, and see why Duke wrote a book called "Why I'm So Great".

It wouldn't be spring without a bit of chaos! If you're looking for a classic cyberpunk turn-based strategy game, you can't go wrong with Chaos Overlords. You'll wage war against rival overlords sending out your gangs against theirs in a tense war of influence over a vulnerable city.

Each game's a classic in our May Myriad of Games! Grab a wide variety of games for up to 70% off until Tuesday, May 20th 3:59 AM GMT. Spring is in the air!

Ghorpm: I did (I added it to the downloader without thinking) but I would still like to do something about it.
I have 572 (573 now) games in my shelf, plus gifts. If I get lucky and glitch a free 2$ game once in a while, I'll call it a loyalty promo and not feel guilty. At all.

I suggest you do the same, considering your mileage is similar IIRC.

zeffyr: Shame on you! ;)
see above.

I'm too lazy to download anything atm. I only have less than 5% of my games archived =P

The game still seems to be in my virtual library. I doubt they will revoke it, though if they do, I have no problem with that either. I will still throw money at my screen for these awesome sales. For when I have money that is, lol. Don't have alot of it so I have to budget budget ^_^

I love gog and enjoy giving back to this awesome community. There is hiccups and whatnot, still a great place to be a part of =)

I totally wouldn't mind if a Downfall gift code showed up in my PMs ;)

First wrong promo name and then a free game. I hope some gog personel doesn't get more than a warning.
Nice one :)..two new games for the "treasure chest"

I'd just like to say that I really appreciate the people who deliberately didn't get the game for free, knowing that it was just a bug. You guys are awesome. :)

Promo names are a playful thing.

Actually, when I saw the free (and processed it), I assumed that the random chance of a free game on the insomnia promo had crept out to the normal sale, which was not so weird considering it's new functionality. It seems I was wrong though, I wonder what actually happened.

Have you ever listened to a band's first album and it had that raw, on a shoestring budget sound?

Downfall is like that first album :) Very awesome and quite raw in its presentation :)

The Cat Lady is like the second album: more refined but awesome :)
It is strangely reassuring to see a good ol' traditional promo in the midst of all the Insomnia mayhem (which, though definitely fun, kind of distorts the natural balance of the GOG universe). Will probably grab Covert Agent, Hocus Pocus and Downfall (now that the pricing issue seems to be fixed).

That would be great if it were something implemented regularly. It would be like a GOG lottery.
Everyone remember to buy the Dangerous Dave games .

I respect your point of view but my personal feelings about it are a bit different so I send a support ticket anyway ;)
