Am I the only one that couldn't get into Giants? I have heard how amazing it is, I have wanted to play it since it came out, but when playing with the Mecs or whatever they're called I just keep dying and I'm not really enjoying it at all.

Giants & Sacrifice are the only 2 games I bought from GOG that I'm actively disappointed in, both were very clunky and far more importantly, boring as hell

Wow, that's surprising to hear. I personally consider Giants to be most entertaining game in the entire catalogue. Oh well, different strokes... :)

I have Descent3 from here and the others on CD someplace. Sacrifice would be my pick if you don't have it.

yup I also already have descent 3, sacrifice and giants. Will pass on stonekeep. Too many games bought recently, 5 in just these past 2 days

Wow. Both Giants and Sacrifice are at the very top of my wishlist, the only reason I haven't bought them yet being that I joined GOG just after the previous Interplay promotion ended (and so, cheapskate that I am, I couldn't rationalize paying full $6 for them). So this promo is basically tailor-made for me.
...except that I've already made a serious commitment of not spending any more money on games till the end of the year. So what to do? Decisions, decisions...

If you really want them and don't buy them now then you'll end up paying more for them later, so I'd personally suggest relaxing your commitment just this once ;-)

Unless there is another "buy 1, get 1" anniversary promotion next September. Which is, on the other hand, still a long time from now. So yeah, you're quite right and I probably will break. :)
Just no more deals on games I am interested in before Christmas, OKAY, GOG?!

So, it's great that there's yet another promo for some Interplay games, but is Gog going to have more promos for more of their games? I mean specially since the holidays are upon us.
