Commandos series, Creatures series, Constructor, Imperial Glory, Mob Rule, and Praetorians 60% off!

With the releases of [url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/cultures_12]Cultures 1+2, Imperialism 2: The Age of Exploration, and King's Bounty: Crossworlds GOTY this has been a particularly strategy-focused week on GOG.com, so why not continue on that note with our weekend promo. We present you 9 great Digital Game Factory titles 60% off! Let's see what you could be doing this weekend, shall we?

In Commandos Ammo Pack and Commandos 2+3, the great tactical RTS series, you can assume the role of the commander of a WWII special ops unit. Be careful, though--that's not an easy task, by any means.

In and its sequel, [url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/mob_rule]Mob Rule you can become a made man, or even the Don, and organize crime in any way you can imagine. The city is your oyster, so get the lime and begin your feast!

And in case you're a little less strategically inclined, but you'd still like to emerge yourself in a game that requires quite a lot of careful planning and the ability to exercise authority, you can try to help some furry alien artificial life forms to evolve and become more intelligent in Creatures Village, Creatures: The Albian Years, and Creatures: Exodus.

But that's not nearly all you can do in the games we're offering you 60% off this weekend. Why don't you go to the promo page and see what other interesting activities cooked up by Digital Game Factory await you.

Below, you'll find this year's first episode of This Week on GOG, a short video guide to recent events, promos, and other happenings on the site. By the way, if you haven't already, you might want to follow the GOG.com channel on Youtube, so you won't miss our shows, specials, and exclusive trailers.

Have a nice weekend!

I don't care about that game but I hope that will be true because that means that SEGA will finally join GOG

It said that digital pictures was the publisher for the dos version though.
Ok, what to buy now? Commandos 2+3 and Constructor or King's Bounty: Crossworlds?
I'd have to go with Leisure Suit Larry, there was a trap in LSL6 that you could fall into.... or fall into you...... nevermind.
Picked up Imperial Glory. Only one from this promo I wanted, that I don't have already...and just couldn't pass up that promo price :P

Yeah, it's going to be some collection of Larry games. No question about it.

Isn't Leisure Suit Larry another one of those licensing nightmare games?
Imperial Glory no longer has a Mac version (the Feral port)???

Where did this go? More importantly, where the hell is the Mac installer I paid for? I checked my game shelf and notice only the Windows installer there. I bought it specifically because of the Mac port being available when I made the purchase.

I happened to notice this just now as it is one of the games on sale and it only had the windows logo next to it. So I checked the store page and noticed no mention of Mac. So.... I went to my shelf and found my Mac installer not there to download now, just disappeared.

Not cool.

Once I buy a game here, Mac or Windows, etc. I do not expect it to disappear from my shelf at some future time.

Agreed. It's supposed to the virtual equivalent of storage. If something disappears, it's like someone snuck into your house and stole something.

Depends on how much you like turn-based RPGs.
My personal choice would be Commandos and Constructor, hands down. I've spent countless hours having fun with both series. It's an awesome feeling when you open up the minimap and you see you cleared half the map using just your Green Beret soldier, you feel like you don't need more than your 6 soldiers to invade Berlin and win the war.

I also am not one for TBS while I enjoy RTS a lot more. But YMMV.

Actually a VGA release of LSL is supposed to be coming for the last Groupees bundle buyers. It's still "(coming soon)" however.

Isn't that the remake? I'm talking about the original, Sierra developed games. Codemasters owns the IP rights, but maybe/maybe not the actual, original games.
Pass.

Sooooooooooooooooo much pass.
