That promo was evil! I only wanted Neverwinter Nights 2 and ended up with everything.
Great Promo, just added NWN2 to my collection. The final game in the series, for 3,99, not too shabby :-)

I already had it on Steam, but that nagging DRM. Glad to be finally rid of it.

Seriously? Do you realize how awesome this is? No really. Quite possibly the best promo I've seen to date on GOG! Sadly, I bought most of these titles during the holiday season already, but thankfully I was able to pick up Neverwinter Nights 2 now for $3.99 @ 80% off. Awesome, thanks GOG!

I've plastered URLs of the promo on FB and everywhere else I can think of and I hope some folks take advantage of the amazing deal! ;o)
Rare promo, those who didn´t bought those games during Christmas sale, should do so now.

Since I already have a few games from this promo, save those I played from DVD´s in pre-GOG era (PS:T + ID 1/2...), which I won´t be buying, there is only one game I haven´t played yet: Baldur´s Gate 1 (finished BG2 in 2007). So I´ll buy both of those, just for completion sake.

And today is also last day of Torment: TIdes of Numenéra Kickstarter. Things couldn´t have been better :)
I love this so much- BUT I ALREADY OWN ALL OF THEM!

GOG, could you fine folks work on getting us more D&D? The SSI Gold Box titles or Westwood's Eye of the Beholder series, for example. Even Menzoberranzan would be all right... I can seriously never get enough AD&D.
OK, for all of you newbies who might not know what the initials of old school D&D mean, it is very simple. It spells nirvana, heaven, paradise, etc. You can't go wrong with these titles. Pick them all up if you are a fan of the genre.

This promotion is so wicked it should classify as a crime against humanity. Beyond awesome.

I guess now I have the obligation to complete the Neverwinter series... Done!
Back in the day when these games were released I was playing consoles and never played any of these games. so naturally I bought the complete pack.

Just one question: where do you think I should start? Since I've never played any of them I don't know if maybe some games are more difficult than others, so I should play them later...

Which game do you think I should play first?

Right now I think maybe Planescape Torment, or maybe Baldurs Gate I or II?

Thanks for your help

Vitek: Eh, this kind of promo is "always" with DnD games where I own 4 games retail. :-/
Can't I tag them as purchased? :-)
At these prices, it's worth buying the games again at the $1.99-3.99 just to get them DRM-and-hassle-free and support GOG in the process. I own the boxed version of Neverwinter Nights which I paid $45 for a few years ago but picking up all 10 of these games including all of their respective expansion packs included for a total of $21.xx is a ridiculously good deal even if one owns some of the games already. It's worth it just to not have to reach out and grab a plastic disk and put it in the DVDROM drive. ;o)

Locke97: Also, while I'm at it, a big thanks to your customer service department - my browser froze up on the payment processing, leaving me in a no-man's land where my payment went through but the game wasn't added to my account. Your CS people sorted me out within the hour.
Basically, you guys rock (but we all knew that)!
Yeah, I've had a couple of payment related mishaps in the past and all it took was a quick support request and GOG fixed things up pronto. During the holiday season in December I bought over 50 games in one order and their system wasn't set to handle more than 50 games in one purchase and puked. They ended up fixing the problem by giving me the missing games at no charge! I would have been perfectly happy to just have them correct the order and charge me the difference, but getting the missing games for free was just icing on the awesome cake. ;o)

All I can say is if anyone ever has any probs with support, just be patient and they WILL take care of you!

Promo sealed the deal for me on many of these titles. With the new Planetscape on the horizon, I'm now downloading and will fire up torment.

As the Infinity Engine games go, Torment is most focused on story, Icewind Dale is predominately focused on dungeon crawling combat, while Baldur's Gate is more of a balanced approach to story and combat. Torment is the most combat-light of the three, but playing Baldur's Gate first (not necessarily finishing it first, but at least exploring the tutorial and maybe adventuring a bit) will do better to introduce you to the way all 3 series work.

You may want to find a mod that puts Baldur's Gate in the BG2 engine, too- it made a lot of improvements to the experience.
Nice promo...as a lot of people here, the only one I didn't have was NWN2. So, 3.99 for NWN2 is too good of a deal to pass up.
Can we get a Fallout Promo next? After all Wasteland 2 will be out hopefully by the end of the year.

I think it's better to play any game unmodded for the first playthrough, at least not a radical mod like Tutu. But that's just me I guess.

I like to do so as well just to experience a game in all the original glory. Sometimes remakes or enhanced editions or custom mods can improve the experience but changes aspects of gameplay that might be either better or worse but is "different" and you might miss things from how it was originally. It depends on the game of course too. I at least like to give the stock game a run for a while and either complete it or get far enough into it to feel I know what it's all about.

Take Diablo II for example. Playing the base game is fun, but it is quite a bit different when you install the expansion pack and have extra inventory slots, etc. Gameplay just changes, and in the case of Diablo II I'd say the enhancements in the expansion are for the better, but it's still fun to give the game a go in it's pure form. :)

+1 on that! I hadn't even heard of Fallout before I spotted it on GOG consistently being high in the bestseller list. The Fallout series is on my wishlist for some time now and I look forward to picking up the series when there's a good promo on in the future. All I hear anywhere is how cool the game is.

Can someone help me out here? Of the games in this promo that have multiplayer, which require 2 separate copies to work? I'm almost broke right now and want to play LAN with my brother, but i can't afford 2 of everything. I will buy 2 of some of them if necessary. He is not in the slightest interested in these games, even though he has never tried one of them, and i aim to show him that they can be fun. I'm sure if he likes the games, he'll eventually buy his own copies. So far, it looks like i will need to buy 2 copies of Neverwinter Nights, and 2 copies of Neverwinter Nights 2, is that correct? Thanks for any help.
