Get Fallout series, Descent series, MDK, Kingpin, Redneck Rampage and many, many more stunning Interplay classics 50% off!

This weekend, we get back to the basics with our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/interplay_weekend_promo_041013]Entertaining Interplay Promo! Looking at this vast selection of classic titles one can't help but to ask: why are some of these still missing from my collection? Almost everything in this promo is a must-have for every classic PC-gaming enthusiast. Luckily you can grab everything you were missing with a 50% off discount this weekend. Let's take a look at some of the half-priced gems, shall we?

It's only $4.99 for each of the classic post-apocalyptic RPG, . That will leave you with enough bottle-caps to grab yourself a nuka-cola later. In the same price you can get the games from the [url=]Descent series. In this case, you should probably invest the money you save into some vertigo medicine. And speaking of vertigo, a game that starts off with a sequence of stratosphere free-fall and explodes into an orgy of bullets and badassery, MDK is available for only $2.99. Get into the action!

That's only a few of 34 Interplay games you can get 50% off this weekend. Make sure to navigate to the Promo Page, to see the whole robust selection. The promo lasts until Tuesday, October 8, at 9:59AM GMT.
Interplay again? These sales must do good for their echoing coffers.

teabow: I'll probably (finally) pick up Fallout 1 and 2 at this price.

Can someone remind me how much Interplay titles were discounted during the recent summer sale ?

DrearierSpider: They were 50% off as well, but Interplay made GOG pull the discount partway through the sale

Thanks. I was bummed to have missed them for that price a while back. I guess now is a good time as any to pull the trigger.
Want Tactics before it goes but no money at this moment
Hopefully Winter Sale lets me fix this
I have no intention of playign the Fallout games anytime soon, but if they will disappear from GoG (since Bethesda is in bed with Valve) I'll have to buy them :/ On the other hand, I really don't want to create a backlog.
Oh wow! An Interplay Promo! :/

There are 6 games here that I don't own. Maybe I'll get Screamer 2.

EDIT: Scratch that, there's 5 games in the promo I don't own. I never picked up the Fallout games. Not my thing.

does anyone have suggestions of fun under the radar games in this sale? I have fallout and freespace, but am curoius of hidden awesomeness in the sale....
This has got to be the best promo I've seen from GOG thus far :D
Can anyone comment on the following games?

Stonekeep (which I think I'll get because I always wanted to play it as a youth but even the demo wouldn't work on my DOS system)
Invictus: In the Shadow of Olympus
Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader
I noticed I already had 12 of those titles, too many I haven't touched yet too but I'm working on it. I suppose though that I might want to buy Fallout Tactics in case it might be taken away but I think I'll wait for the Christmas sale instead.

Kennethor: Should I buy Freespace 2? I've been interested in that game for quite a while, own all the other games I want from this promo.
FreeSpace 2 is a top notch space flight simulator IMO. The game has also been heavily upgraded and modded by the Freespace Open Source team and the Freespace Upgrade Project. The majority of the graphics now match that of games released today.

There are also a multitude of fan made campaigns that have been released. Some of these campaigns have voice acting. An example of this would be the total conversion mod Wing Commander Saga.

The hub of FreeSpace modding is Hard Light Productions.

Thanks for the detailed answer! Yeah I looked it up and I have heard much about it before to.

Bought it! I also found a thread here on gog that explained how to install all the mods easily too!

Thanks again!
Freespace 2 hasn't aged a day in terms of gameplay, and once modded with freespace open it looks brand new too!

All it needs is a detailed cockpit view.

LionHeart is built on the Infinity Engine of Baldur's Gate and it uses Fallout's S.P.E.C.I.A.L as a rpg system. Unfortunately the endgame is not so good but still it's a nice game. It might be worth the $3

Lionheart doesn't use the Infinity Engine.
I just started playing Lionheart this morning even though I bought it like five months ago. It's odd but I love it. Something tells me I'm going to end up restarting it 1000+ times until I get a skill set I'm happy with. Those character build FAQs never work because one guy says do this and another says the exact opposite.
