AlKim: EDIT: Thanks, GOG, for having a promo where I already own all the games I want. Saves me the money I need for a new bike.
Same here. It's good not having to worry about even more spending this week.
Great deals but I'll just save my money for the upcoming future christmas promo

htown1980: thanks for the tips, not sure about that recommendation for Still Life though, AlKim...
Still Life was a fresh air among adventures for me because it emulated a detective procedure. You visite a crime scene, gather clues, analyze them with your toolkit, discuss it later with a pathologist, etc. Sadly, later in the game, this stops happening and you have to deal with more common, not so narrative-related puzzles (hi, infamous cake recipe). And I was disappointed by a cheesy ending.

If you want to play an adventure game set in the modern world with an gripping story for most part and unique visuals, I think $4 isn't much for this game. It's not a perfect game but interesting enough to try IMO.

I see a demo is available here: http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/stilllife/demo/1290.html

Ah, forget it. The joke has gotten old.

Fesin: TET sounded a little bit weird today - not as suave as usual.
And he's got a terrible Texan accent. ;D

Syberia 1+2 look very, very tempting to be honest ... but I'm not sure, I still haven't picked up the 5 for 10 bundle yet.
We used a new mic; we're not convinced we like it. And yes, two years in Poland has made my John Wayne impression a pitiable thing, indeed.
There weren't 5 games (that I don't have yet) that all tempted me on the 5 for 10 bundle so holding out on that...

The weekend promo is quite interesting for Still Life (the trilogy on discount? mmm) seeing as I've wanted to play those for ages but put it off first with "well they don't have all the games" and later "well it'll be on sale soon and I can't afford it" .... The Robin Hood game is tempting too given I do enjoy Commando-style games... the Atlantis adventure games also intriguing... hmm.....

I knew there was something different. Keep the old one, please.
Maybe you could learn from Robert De Niro's character in Machete, he has an awesome, fake exaggerated Southern accent.

Chill and relax, it happens to the best of us.
Its actually suprising how fast one gets used to another contrys manner of speaking.
I was 3 months in spain once and in the end of my stay i had actually picked up a few spanish prhases without actually activly going in to learn it.
If you hear it evryday it eventually sneaks under your skin.
Own most of the games I want already (just not on GOG). Probably going to grab Robin Hood though.
One of the games I consider well worth of their regular price on GoG is the first Moto Racer. At current discount, it is an experience I would definitely recommend to any gamer.

Out of 20 - 30 racing (and driving) games in total, it stands on it's racing pedestal far above the rest of it's genre that I played. It is pure fun. The driving speed, for me the key factor in racers, is lethal, but, what is also important, the frame rate does not suffer. To my experiences, speed and smoothness of Moto Racer were never equalled in the genre.

As I see it, there is only one minor shortcoming to this game. That is the Lost Ruins track, which to an extent feels unpolished, as if developers would be in a rush to meet the deadline, but it is much better to have it included than not. What I regret is that Delphine had ever only released one expansion with additional set of tracks; if I recall correctly, primarily as an optional replacement for the Lost Ruins and another track. 10 tracks (4+1 road, 4+1 dirt) in this release might sound like plenty, but because this game is such a masterpiece of a racer, I would gladly pay a few dollars per similar expansion with additional track or two to Delphine.

To me, racing games generally have a life span of anything from a few to about 40 hours. I was playing Moto Racer actively for 2 months, and it's one of those games I know I will keep returning to.
Hey, Enigmatic T, do you have the power to read minds? For some reason, one or more games from my wishlist have conveniently been included in most of GOG's sales for the past two months. Maybe it is just coincidence, or maybe...
I hate to be THAT guy, but...

Another Anuman promo?! It hasn't been that long since the last one.

Last time I checked, Post mortel wasn't discounted... so it's a good thing I guess :/
Tempted by Syberia 2, but still haven't even started the first one and both of them are cheaper on Steam sale (2,24 € each)...

Edit: decided to support the smaller guy and bought if from here after all :)
