Arcanum, Gabriel Knight, Zeus+Poseidon, Quest for Glory 1-5, and 27 other Activision games 60% off!

As the weekend draws near, it's time to reveal the next exciting promo on GOG.com. Behold the [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/activision_weekend_promo_05_10_12/]Activision Greats, a superb collection of 31 memorable titles. Oh, wait... that's wrong. What I meant was: 31 game boxes. Some of them contain more than just one game, so the actual number of Activision Greats amounts to impressive 54 titles! And you can get them all 60% off until Tuesday Ocober 9 at 3:59 AM GMT. Let's take a peek into some of the boxes!

Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magic Obscura summons the spirit of Fallout into a unique world where steampunk meets fantasy in a creative mixture of imagination and pure isometric RPG awesomness. In Arcanum, you get the absolute freedom to create any kind of character you want and pursue whatever quest you find the most fitting. If you're looking for a game that will drain dozens of hours of your free time--here's your best pick!

Gabriel Knight, a tormented young writter, came to be a celebrity of the point-and-click adventure genre. The first game he stars in--subtitled "Sins of the Fathers"--features beautiful pixel-art graphics, over 7000 lines of fully-voiced dialogs, and a dark story balancing on the verge of madness and occult. The game launched a successful and recognizable series that earned its place in the adventure games' hall of fame. Be sure to check the other two games that complete the trillogy: Gabriel Knight2: The Beast Within and Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.

Quest for Glory 1-5 is an amazing collection of Sierra's innovative action-RPGs. Each of the five games can be played as a whole but you can also treat the series as one big adventure, as the character and his accumulated wealth can carry on from one game into another. Become a mage, a thief, or a knight and explore the five huge worlds, each based on a different culture and mythology, from Germanic fairy tales, through Arabian and Slavic folklore, right down to Greek myths. Experience the game that set many standards in the "new school" of computer RPG.

Those excellent games are but a tip of the iceberg of Activision awesomeness. There are dozens of other fantastic titles you can grab 60% off, so head out to Activision Greats promo page and go nuts!
Wow, great promo.. this will have to be the weekend I get Arcanum. And I've always been curious about the Krondor series. If I work hard today maybe I will get those =)
Can anyone tell me what they think of Call to Power 2 please? I'm kinda on the fence about that one.

Ubivis: oh my... missing 25 games from Activision? Left the promo page instantly after seeing that buying all of them would cost me more than $70. :(

Sorry GOG, no buy from me again this time. Maybe next time, when not so many games are on sale at the same time ;)
Why not buy just a couple then, if there are lots of offers that are interesting to you? It's not like you would have time to play 25 games from beginning to end anytime soon anyway :) You still get the 60% off of whichever you choose.

No, I can't decide... the games I really need to have, I do own already. Either I would buy all of the games in a sale, or none!
I'll definitely pick up a few games today. Thankfully, I own most already, so it won't severely affect my wallet.
I'd love to get me some city builders, but the pace in video's of Zeus etc always looks so high... makes me feel like the game would be rushing me. Is it a calm paced game?
Thank you GOG for putting the Gabriel Knight series on sale. Two more games off my wish list, as I have already played Blood of the Sacred Blood of the Damned. I saw these games on sale on another site recently but knew GOG would come through. Thanks again.
F... you hungarian government . You and your stupid taxes . (;_・)

King's Quest 4+5+6 ( Received . Thank you . )
King's Quest 7+8 ( Received . Thank you . )

Great collection, lots of games here that showed how great Sierra Entertainment was back in the day. Quest For Glory I-V is a must.
Bought Gabriel Knight, Arcanum and Quest for Glory directly on the buying page before even reading the content of the promo page which promote these... odd...
Well done GOG, you successfully obliterated my wishlist, my credit card, and my marriage all in one glorious swoop! :)
So many games, so little prices and so little time... Quite literally: I've bought more than a hundred games here (in 3,5 years) but have played less then half of them. Allowing a minimum of 2 weeks per game, I'm all set for the next two years. And still finding hard to resist to the promos!

Cavalieroscuro: Quest for Glory seems wonderful :(
I have no money to buy this now.
By the way, there's also a fanmade remake of QFG2,if I remember well.

lowyhong: Made by these guys, no less!

Do support them too if you like QfG.
This is such a great promo I feel the urge to nitpick to offset the ambient happiness :-)

The QFG2 remake was done by AGDI interactive which you can find here and who also did thr King's Quest 1 and 2 remakes

Now Infamous Adventures are the one responsible for the equally good KQ3 and SQ2 remakes, and are the ones who had a successful Kickstarter to fund their QfG spinoff.

Hope the clarification helps, and if I pointed out at least one person to these great remakes then I'm a happy man :-)

Doh my bad :P
Dammit GOG, my backlog is already humongous (probably over 1000 games by now) due to the various indie bundles I keep buying, and now you do this???

....

Picked up QFG 1-5, Torin's Passage, Betrayal at Krondor pack, Return to Krondor, and the Zork Anthology
