If you want to have a discussion, please attempt to communicate in a more subdued manner. anyways sorry siannah dude the game( meaning the original) just doesn't appeal to me, classic game or not. . There are tons of other classic games that I would rather see here first.,
I really don't care about the whole thing to tell you the truth. I'm not set out to shit on the game .The only reason I said something was because the tone of the the thread was WE ARE ALL DYING FOR STARFLIGHT HERE. I'm just saying... I have no interest in playing the game at all. Ugly as hell and I have a hard time believing that the gameplay hasn't been outmatched by a similar type of game in the last 24 years (OK maybe I am set out to shit on the game)

- Explore 270 star systems and 800 planets with unique eco-system.
- Interact with 7 alien races, each with unique languages and cultures.
- Choose and train 6 ship's officer: Captain, Science Officer, Communications Officer, Navigator, Medical Officer, and Chief Engineer. Their performance improves with experience.
- Includes animated graphics of rotationg planets, landing sequences, and more.
This all in 1986, on two 5.25 floppys.

This gentleman speaks truth and has excellent taste in games too!

Running over baby turtles with a car fits as a terroristic threat according to the Texas Penal Code. In other words - you're screwed. :)
On a more serious note, you REALLY should consider to learn a bit more about history from a few other sources, then just Google and Youtube.

It would only be a terroristic threat if he was having an argument with those baby turtles and threatened them directly. If he is having arguments with baby turtles, he has bigger problems than whether or not he just committed a terroristic threat.

The videogame library over the last 24 years is filled with hundreds of classics. Space Invaders and Donkey Kong were classics too, doesn't mean they are at the top of my list of gaming priorites. Those game have influenceced other games, and those influenced games have resulted in more innocvative and refined gameplay,.making the originals looks like archaic poop lumps.Same thing has happened with Starflight. Oh wow gameplay from over 270 planets that looks like ass, and gameplay implementations straight from 1986. Sounds like a must buy. Take off the nostalgia glasses please. The game just isn't that good anymore.

hehe, hey u continue to not understand.
Space Invaders and Donkey Kong are HORRIBLE repetitive platform games since their release.
Starflight is an adventure with strategic/RPG elements and a TIMELESS attractive story.
