When I think about it more precisely: Why does GOG declare manuals as "bonus"?
A manual belongs to a game, they are an inseparable unit. I don't buy manuals separately when I buy a game offline.
They just list it under extras so they don't have to make two lists.

According to gamerankings.com these 2 games are at about the same level of quality, and the part I tried of silver was actually quite satisfying, so I don't why it should be fatal. (I know, that all you actually get from gamerankings is a number, but I'd still say that it tells something)

I SEE a difference now. The review of soulbringer is quite positive, and silver seems medicore, but it seems you've found a review of the dreamcast version, which is inferior to the pc-version.
If I wanted to, I could find other reviews, that gives a better impression of silver, and a worse of soulbringer, (e.g. gamespot.com) and then we could go on and on, forever and ever.

Anyhow, it was not my intention to make a contest of which game is the best, only to tell that I would like to play silver. If we get both games, I guess we should both be happy.

Great game.
I played it many years ago and liked it.
It's a real gem, classic gog target :)

On DotEmu it's listed as belonging to Funbox Media who have recently signed a contract with GOG, so if it is indeed a good old game, surely it will come to GOG eventually, too?
