A little summary would be nice...just dropping a ink in a new thread is a bit lazy. Maybe a little of WHY you felt the need to post it, or what you got from reading the OP yourself.

I agree with him in respect to not just posting links. A couple lines to identify what the link is about and perhaps your own thoughts on the issue would go a long way to sparking an actual discussion. I personally tend to just move on when I open a thread and the original post has only a link.

Some people do the same thing in the Gaming Deals thread and it drives me nuts. At least a few words to indicate what the link is for or what it's discussing would be a good thing.

tl;dr

Watchdogs contains the assets needed to improve quality to the screenshots/videos from 2012 and 2013, someone claims to have enabled them.
Performance impact is yet unknown, some claim improvement, some say it degrades. And not all visual enhancements work as they should.

Well, I think the title of the thread was enough, since the first post on the link I posted explain all the question better then I can.

When TB did his "WTF is..." on Watchdogs, he did do Ultra on dual Titans, and the game couldn't maintain 60 FPS, nor did it look as good as the E3 video.

I trust TB's word on technical stuff.

I think what people are saying, is that if they want links they can go to a content aggregation site like reddit, et al. Instead, they would prefer that you offer your own opinion on why this is interesting for you. Why do you care that there are hidden graphical options in Watch_Dogs?

Well, because I think there are only two options: or they artificially downgraded PC version because consolle can't match PC spec, so no one can complain about how superior the PC version is...or because they want to do a "HD" version of Watchdogs, and they will basically re-enable all those features.
