Fifeldor: FACT: GOG's never on time, they're usually 5-8 minutes late starting everything.
But they tend to fill up the time with music from the soundtracks, which is quite nice :P
the anticipation is building.... it's killing meeee.......

Stooner: wow! How do you know I was doing that? oO

newtrality: :3 La Mulana knows all .... ._.
That was scary.......
If you guys watched the teaser it sure sounded more like they were changing the delivery and/or platform of GOG.com... Here's hoping it doesn't devolve into some damnable Steam clone. They said it themselves, 'how do you improve perfect?' --You don't.

Super_Gamer1231: Linux is the platform of the future.
That is good and all but at the present no on is using it for playing games. Yes you and your 12 linux buddies do but it isn't mainstream ready yet.
The "1800 GMT" issue fully explained.

Two helpful ways to view the original countdown timer from user Skordakias.

Psyringe: By using the countdown from the announcement? ;)

Filthgrinder: What announcement? All I saw was a banner on the website and it took me here. No countdown to see at all. Someone posted a countdown...thanks.
This announcement. :)

On the main page, that earlier announcement has been replaced by a link to the stream though, so the countdown is now a bit harder to find. But by the time I found that out, someone else had already linked the countdown directly, so I didn't edit my post.

imAgi: They said 18:00 GMT so soon should be in 30 mins. I am so hoping for a Linux support announcement!

jlocohustler: Unfortunately Linux isn't a viable gaming platform yet.
Guess we'll have to wait for Win8 to bomb, Valve to port Steam over to Linux and maybe then GOG will start thinking about it.

gibbeynator: Here's my longshot prediction for the conference. Ghostlight said a while back that they were in talks to port console JRPGs to PC. They're going to come out and announce that they've finished porting Persona 3, and they're putting it on GOG now.
Why must you taunt us so cruelly?

@GOG
You might want to check the link in OP...
Drum roll!
''Alternatively, you can watch the same feed on http://www.gog.com/conference--high definition available!''

This link doesn't work for me. Does it work for anyone else?
