Well, the blade things were pretty cool.
Other than that, it looked like some crazy person who had just woken up and didn't have time to put her clothes on. It annoys me that they chose to put a picture like that.

Now I'll be expecting things like "You can choose the gender of your character! As you level up, your male characters gain skills that allow them to wear better armor, your female characters gain skills that give them magically bullet resistant skin so they can get naked. Level 30 skill Bouncing Boobies: Decimate your enemies with gravity defying flailing breasts". Then, when I point out that it's unnecessary, a group of people appear out of nowhere and tell me that Cyberpunk 2077 has the most artistic integrity in the world, I'm ruining everything, and it's absolutely necessary for a 2077 cyberpunk setting.

Same thing. What if you already have bought two of the Fallout games in the Fallout Trilogy bundle in the same service?

Humble Bundles are also limited time, and I don't see people bitching about it. And I don't see how you can consider this "poorly conceived". Eight Interplay games for $0.99? You can complain about the games, but you can't complain about the price.

And at least GOG gives you gift codes for the games you have from their service already, something that these other services don't do at least as far as I can tell. GOG's model is hardly "poorly conceived" compared to them.

Hah, tell me about it. There were more than enough games I was interested in to make the price great (Jagged Alliance, Evolva, Shattered Steel, Messiah, Freespace, Descent 3, Conquest of the New World, Lionheart, Die By The Sword, Castles, Stonekeep), but I do now have a bunch of stuff that'll probably sit on my shelf for eternity.

I'm glad I became more or less immune to hype, so I'm not really disappointed by the conference. Deponia 2 stole the cake this time.

1. Mac
The "complete ad" was cute :). I always liked your playful style; except the "we're closing the business, guys" pull.
As for Mac endorsement, in the era where basically every other competitor supports it, it's hardly breathtaking. In addition, you've already announced Witcher for Mac, so it was kind of obvious it's coming.
It's nice to see that GOG is expanding, though. I let my friends using Mac know; I think theyll be happy :).

2. Promo + new games
Well, sorta downer. On the other hand, it's sweet to see that GOG is international. Your videoconfs always cover people coming from different countries which makes it unique. Promo is probably more attractive for new people; a rest of them has bought Interplay titles already IMHO. I would be willing to try MDKs yet it's way better to wait for more generous promo.
Deponia 2 win this round without difficulty :).

3. CDP
I agree with Michael. I like cyberpunk a lot but the oversexualisation typical for CDP put me off. It's like watching PR for a game from nineties :(.

And the most important thing - Happy anniversary, GOG! I wish you many prosperous years to come.

Heh, yeah. (I'm not really interested, though.) I'm just surprised GOG couldn't have released, like, one other classic today. Freebie is nice, admittedly, although I'm feeling "bleh" about the art style ("futuristic cartoonish").

That was a really weird choice. EnigmaticT and other staffers post in these forums; they must be aware that some people are worried that the indie games will overshadow the old ones. And now they release four games, and they couldn't even make one of them an older one? It seems to me that that would be very elementary PR move. Or if they're not going to release old games, at least new ones people have heard of? Somewhere along the line, I think someone made a really bad judgment call about what games to announce.

As for the rest of the conference, Mac support is cool for the Mac users, and I got a game I wanted in the promo, so I'm cool with it.
