You make a brilliant point, reality will always outdo fantasy. we could sit around all day trying to come up with stupid goofy inventions and none of them would ever come close to the real things.

For the topic...who needs tanks? The last wars were won with air forces.
Even if you could hide the tank, you can't hide his tracks and the satellites can see and recognize them.
