Is Wasabi soda a thing? Google says...yes. I'm learning so much from this thread.
I have the same horror whenever I encounter the Dill Pickle Flavored Potato Chips in the snack aisle. How someone finds that tasty on a chip I have no idea. Whenever I have chips on my plate touching my Dill Pickle I usually throw them out, but someone, somewhere thought that was a tasty find when it happened.
The Vinegar Potato Chips are another flavor I just don't understand. Just a horrid taste and smell.

P1na: I mean, really? Are these Slovaks totally fucked up in the head? My only experience with wasabi was my first time eating sushi and asking "what is this green thiing"? Answer was, something I don't ever want to touch again. And they flavor chips with that.

And I thought the shrimp flavour in asia was weird.
Wasabi is great!

Then again, i use Sriracha Extra Hot Chilisauce like ketchup, so dunno if i am right person to listen to about spices.

Why Slovaks? I ate that stuff in Poland years ago and it's awesome.

If you want something to drink, try Pocari Sweat (great brand name) or Calpis Soda (great taste).

I'll keep those in mind, what started off as a thread complaining about wasabi chips is quickly becoming a thread full of food for me to try haha.
I've never tried Wasabi flavored chips in my life, so that may really indeed be one sucky flavor to me.

But! I highly encourage you to try "Wasabi prawns", an actual dish you can order in a restaurant (Asian cuisine). That one is really good to the taste-buds. :D
I love wasabi. Jalepeno chips are also great.

jamyskis: I've seen wasabi chips here as well, didn't go much on them.

But I do love wasabi-coated peanuts, and I'm partial to adding a bit of wasabi to mashed potato.
I'm a sucker for wasabi covered poppeas. Or at least I think those were peas and not soybeans.

I got hooked on them while in China. Is it wrong that that's high on my list of reasons to go back? That and those ingenious congee in a cans with an integrated spoon for breakfast on the go.

Because on the half a day I spent in Warsaw, I never saw them. I only just now found them in Bratislava

I certainly don't think so because one of the main reasons I want to go back to France is flammekueche, and Italy, gelato (it's really not the same here).
To me, wasabi tastes like fiery mustard. I love chillis and heat, but I'm not a fan of wasabi.
