Smannesman: Nice!
Of course they also have to stop before it becomes 'old' like Supernatural ;)
Agree with you there. I have enjoyed some of the eps this season but its back once again to is Sam evil or going to be which has been in every season.

Basically the premise for the show has become:

10. Character loses soul
20. Stuff happens
30. Soul is returned
40. GOTO 10

And that sucks, when it was 2 freaky guys hunting supernatural freaks it was fun :)

Crassmaster: I actually didn't mind last night's at all. Expecting characters in high stress situations that they barely understand to act rationally 100% of the time is rather silly.

Though I totally agree about the magically repaired RV...that was just strange.
They've been out there for 60 days since the outbreak went global, which in my opinion is more than enough time to get some bearings and accommodate yourself to the situation at hand; as such that shouldn't of been a high stress situation and they acted totally stupid.

Except look at that specific situation.

It was an all or nothing gamble. The sun is going down, they're low on gas, and they aren't near any known area of shelter. That fits the definition of a 'We're all going to die now' situation. And people don't tend to keep their wits when they assume that they're doomed and don't have a fallback.
I enjoy the show, however I am still in love with Fringe the most *I heart Fringe "le sigh"*
It's over. NO! Dammit!!!!!

Well, that was...weird.

I liked the actual human moments, but the pacing of that entire episode was far too rushed compared to the others. There were obviously some things cribbed from other shows (Hey, that Lost show had a lone guy in a bunker with a countdown timer, and people LOVED that shit!), and you could tell that the real purpose for that episode was to give them an easy way to kill everyone if Season 2 wasn't picked up.
If anyone missed this, The Walking Dead first season is available on Netflix instant streaming as of today. There's some bullshit about subsequent seasons being available just before some other season launches. Eh whatever, season 1 is there, I checked (don't know about Canada, sorry the rest of the world).

Also, S02E01 will be out in ONE FREAKING WEEK FROM NOW! YEAH BROS!

The fact you called it S02E01 proves YOU ARE A PIRATE.

My dear Holmes!

This and next month are good months for guilty pleasure television - this month for The Walking Dead, and the next for Leverage S04E11.

I'm positively tingling with excitement. The preview looked awesome.

In other news, I need to get my hands on the graphic novels ASAP too. Been dying to read them since 2 years ago when I first came across one of the collections, but it seems that so is everyone else who is more up-to-date with the cool stuff.

Just watched the first 3 episodes today for the first time. It's awesome. The pilot was a little slow-paced (although certainly not bad), but the other two episodes have been really good. Certainly not a relaxing series, however. Quite violent, and fairly psychologically intense at times. Also, it irritates me that each episode ends on a cliff hanger :3.
