Well noone who said they where going to come actually showed up, some for understandable reasons others not so much so thats another dull birthday fer meeeeee.
However it did mean that I had all the booze to drink SO!!!!

As this topic is here anyway, let me say that I have had a quiet and enjoyable evening with my girlfriend. For dinner, we had "Burning Love" (Brændende Kærlighed), which is a traditional Danish dish made up of mashed potatoes with fried diced bacon and fried onions (not deep fried, just fried), and is a personal favourite of mine. Later, we watched Scary Movie 3, because we were tired and felt like watching something that didn't take itself seriously at all.
I'm not really trying to compare our respective experiences, just relating the events of my own birthday (also today).

I love "Brændende kærlighed" :D, on a sidenote can you even deep fry onions :O I would never do that...

Oh well, something new is learned every day.. The kind of onions which go in Burning Love are just fried on a pan with some oil... works great with various meat too

Anyway, it sounds good. I'll try it tomorrow. With sossages and bacon instead of just bacon. Just about everything in this world is better with bacon. FEED ME BACON. Even bacon is better with bacon. FEED ME BACON.
