lackoo1111: Double DRM (Steam + GFWL),am i right?

Double evil, yes. Still, it's worth it, at least in my opinion. And on top of that, Relic is really taking a good care of that game, with constant updating, new free content etc.

I don't understand, why don't they do tthe same with their older titles.
They probly have their hands full with DoW 2 :D No, they never did anything like this for the previous titles, but that doesn't make it a bad thing now does it?

Well, some new free, official content for Warhammer 40k would be nice.
I think DoW2 was released without disc protection or some such as an experiment, with the free downloads and updates being used as an incentive to buy the game?

It uses Steam and GFWL as DRM. The game was released bare bones with hardly any single player component. We were promised a lot of extra stuff would materialize over the game's life and so far it's rubbish. Like I said we were promised Eldar and Ork campaigns that so far have still not happened. We were also promised a lot of new SP maps would be added to the campaign but we are still stuck playing the same 7 maps for almost every mission. Basically SP has been forgotten and when you compare it to the original DOW and the sequels you realize just how sad that is.
It is rather, I was excited at the annoucement of chaos rising for the idea that we can get a new playable faction but...
This is the problem when multiplayer becomes a major focus of the development, it usually causes single player to be less than it could be
I'd still say it was an improvement over the DoW and WA campaigns. Dunno about the DC and SS ones.
I reckon the Daemon Prince and Adaddon the Despoiler will be in the next expansion for Chaos. I really hope they bring the Necron and Imperial Guard into the next expansion aswell.
Still awaiting an Ork campaign :(

Why on earth would they include Abaddon when he is the biggest loser in the whole 40K universe? 13th Black Crusade means his last 12 attempts have all failed.
In all seriousness though GW won't allow them to include named characters, thats why they invent their own. Getting Asdrubael Vect in Soulstorm was a huge achievement. Of course the Dark Eldar model range is so poor that if they didn't allow Vect in the game the DE would have had no relic unit at all.

Have you completed Chaos Rising?

Don't tell me that Abaddon actually does appear at the end? Do they all laugh at him?

I liked Chaos Rising, the campaign was kinda short though, it took me like 4-5 hours to finish.

If anyone reading this is bothered about possible spoilers, don't read the rest of this post.
Anyway, at the end of the game there is a cutscene which shows (what appears to be) Abaddon being sealed in a room / tomb / thing by a Daemon Prince.
