Trying to hunt for the original. Not found yet. Yes it could be a hoax, but seeing the other stuff posted before on WarZ, there's a high chance of this being actually true.

there is a high chance of someone making this as a joke. While some of the bans might be in the spirit of this image, no one would actually do anything like this in real life. The bans would just be copy-pasted standard messages.

I am not going to argue whether the pic is true or not - but RL is full of more crazy shit than the weirdest mushroom tripped tentacle anime can come up with.

Anyway, thats how all the incredible (stupid/dangerous) stuff happen: "I didnt think..", "I couldnt believe..", "Surely no one would..", "It is common sense that..", "Who would.."

Last famous words you know ;)

Someone isn't familiar with game developer Derek Smart :P

iippo: Somehow I get the feelings someone should tell that to (among others) japanise - ive seen ALOT of all kinds of videos and photos where people clearly seem to think its V-for-victory or something on those lines...

Culture differences are quite interesting, until they hit you the hard way :)

You guys still have that old "come and take these two fingers so I can't use my longbow if you dare" thing?

That's actually a myth. It's very unlikely that that is in fact the origin of the gesture.
You know what the funniest thing was, the puppet accounts with no games, or made privet, that were trying to "defend" the game at first. Unforgettably some of those have been replaced with actual people, which is less funny and more sad.

The second funniest thing was finding out the game developers can actually moderate the steam discussion hub.

that is actually a common thing for many indie game forums. devs have ability to answer questions, make stickies, become closer with fanbase. check out smaller games and you will see a lot of dev-mods posts.

in this case it seems they abused the power to some extent.
