Is anyone else going to get the zombie mmo game?

Bump - anyone played this? Just saw that it's turned up on Steam.

same some gamplay alpha and recent,, boring and bland.. plus 15 is a bit high, since you can get arma 2 mod dayz for a bit more

Hm, that's a bloody shame - IIRC I even signed up for a beta for this thing some time ago. I've already played a fair amount of DayZ and was looking for more of the same with a spin.

I also read it's pretty much a direct port of War Inc and that they will abandon the game after 6 months if revenue is not up to par. And that they randomly ban people in the hope they rebuy the game.

Now I don't know what is true, but doesn't sound too great.

Is it a tie in to World War Z? Great book. Who knows about the movie. If the game is related, it could be very tasty.

Far as I know it has nothing to do with WWZ at all.
This is basically a game made by a company trying to make a profit off of a DayZ style game.

it has nothing to do with the movie, the company straight up is riding the coat tails of dayz to make some quick cash.

It was in development before Day Z was announced.

The owners of War Z claim that, but after Day Z got popular they started making a fake paper trail or something, but it was not actually even started until after Day Z got popular then they just used there war inc engine to get up to speed quickly .

Hmmm... guess I'll be passing on this one.
