It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Licurg: Well, I finally found a good one, called Hola Unblocker . It's a ton better than any other VPN I've ever used .
I'm glad you found what you were looking for but Hola didn't work for me, seems their servers are also blocked for my location but I did find the Google Chrome Zenmate plugin to be working great for me. :)

Can't use Zenmate, as I only use Firefox. I'm also gonna take a look at that Tor thing, it looks interesting.
IMHO, Hola Unblocker is a shitty product. If such kind of program plays from time to time with hidden ad injection - it's not worth trusting.
Way better freemium model - just limit amount of available bandwidth for free users.

piwer: Dude, take a look at ZenMate. It's free, fast and sexy :) Best VPN ever :)

Cons: currently available only on Chrome and Opera.
I love it when the people running a business don't have last names - there just Markus, Simon, Nils, Katia,...
Ah, the first two are given a last name in the Imprint page

And their ToS and Privacy Policy is only in German...

silviucc: If you don't need to use a VPN that often, you can pay 1 EUR for 3 days of access. They have other plans, of course. Check them out at:

+1

If you don't care about paying (in my opinion the only way of trusting an internet service, unless it works on people donations, like openmailbox) I would recommend this one.

My friend Mickey Mouse, Mickey Rourke, well... it does really matter?
A friend of mine (not me), that looks similar to me (but it's not me), told me he uses it, and that he's very happy with it. He opened time ago a thread on reddit asking about a good VPN, and got very nice recommendations, one of them being this one.

If you want something free maybe you could try Austici or Riseup, I think it's free, but I don't know, my friend knows.

PS: lol, reading the thread I just linked... it seems that Earth VPN was not a good option after all, luckily my friend didn't trust that moron down there.

PS2: If I were you I would stay away from TOR and others.

I used to use Astrill when I was in China. There's several modes, so you can tunnel everything, or just from the web browser.. https://www.astrill.com/index.php

You have to pay for it, but I wouldn't personally trust free VPNs, you never know what they're doing on their end, and there isn't even the profit motive for them maintaining their reputation.

ZenMate is legit; it's a properly registered German corporation with a business address in Berlin.
ZenGuard GmbH: https://zenmate.io/contact

The ToS and privacy policy are in German, though. Some provisions that are not merely routine are:
No commercial use of free accounts.
Opt-out policy for E-mail advertising.
Not to be used for objectionable content (remember Germany has strict laws on hate speech).
The privacy policy notes that they use Google Analytics, but they prevent Google from relating any traffic to your own IP adress.

Oh, I made a mess. I don't doubt that they're a legit business, I just find it quite unprofessional to present one's self in this manner - I guess I could have pointed it out in a better/ clearer way.

Thanks for the highlights from their Tos and Privacy Policy - I do understand/ speak German so no problem here :-) What I meant (but failed to make clear) is that a business entity targeting a global audience on the Internet needs to put in more effort than presenting this important information only in their mother language. That kind of comes off as if they've put it up because they're obliged to but did the absolute minimum required because hey, who does actually read this stuff, right?

So, they may be legit and all, but the whole presentation doesn't really help with the trust level required for a service like this.
I'm not completely dismissing them but I'm not jumping in either.

Hope this clears things up ;-P
I just remember something nobody already said, the importance of using a libre client for your VPN connection, like OpenVPN GUI Edition. If a VPN only offers you a connection over their own client you should not take them seriously, maybe they can assure your security, but not your privacy since that fact makes them a little shaddy and it's something to avoid when using a VPN.
