The survival game Don't Starve is getting an expansion! Reign of Giants adds a number of new items, biomes, characters, mobs, mechanics and more to the world of Don't Starve. For fans, it means a whole new experience with new hurdles to solve and ways to die. For newcomers, it means an even more varied and enjoyable experience.

The DLC is currently in beta and released through early access to Steam users. The price is set at $3.99 for the preorder and $4.99 when its fully released. Given that Don't Starve is already here I expect that the DLC will probably come too. This is to register your votes to help ensure the DLC arrives on GOG!

Five bucks is pretty reasonable. It's probably already set to come here but I guess I'll vote anyways.

Don't have the game yet because GoG has already conditioned me to wait for their insane sales but this is one of my top wants and one of the main reasons I joined up - so I'd be all over the DLC

Great game, the expansion gets my vote. I suspect GOG will have it Day One. I certainly hope so.

I expected that it would probably come sometime in the first week of it's release. I figured it wouldn't hurt to register a wishlist item to show support for the expansion and that the community was interested as well.

I almost feel like this is unnecessary because Don't Starve is already here and GOG releases DLC for other titles.
