tinyE: When reached for comment, Linda Blair had this to say.
The power of Christ compels you!
Vomiting certainly feels like something that should be illegal.

Your repeated violation of the Verbal Morality Statute has caused me to notify the Australian Police Department. Please remain where you are for your reprimand.

Good lord, no. After all, we do have some standards!

No, please wait to be reprimanded.

cjrgreen: What a ridiculous interpretation of the news story and the Queensland premier's proposal. There is nothing about the proposal that "makes vomiting illegal" or constitutes anything like "extreme level of control".
Well yes, technically there will be a 'honeymoon period' before making it law, but that's not the end of the story, it is merely just part of the process of making it law.

I know that has lots of potential for a funny reply (as with this entire thread), but it is a bit of a slow day for me!
Why not just make it illegal to be drunk and disorderly? Why a law strictly about vomiting?
The guy on the picture doesn't looks so well, maybe he's feeling a bit nausea.
Queensland is a corrupt redneck shithole.
I think the fact us aussies have a major drinking culture here plays a part in it.U all heard how australians love to party? .Yeah lot of booze as well...

I can't think of too many cultures that don't have some form of drinking or don't have a drink the place is known for. My personal favorite is tawny port wine aged 20 years. Truly the nectar of the gods.
