To get it out of the way, substance over form no, I was not "unkind" to @DarkZephyr in the real purpose of my message.. But it was well beneath my hard, dry tone of words and I did jump on the "chance" to speak out all I had against the worst of the LGBT lobbies claims and acts to date, taking him / her as a representative.. Which he / she were forwarding and defending at the time, though!

The game that I've played handling the homosexual behavior with the most poignant authenticity in its causes and consequences is Analogue - A Hate Story, with a side NPC's story.. It fails by the end with an awkward "flirt" and push in that direction from the main NPC, though. I don't know of any other even trying that is worth mentioning actually, beside niche VN's and BioWare's poor "romance" options.

It is unfortunate homosexual persons don't get much recognition in video games, but as a sound reason these have a general reputation to be "(big) kids games" still to this day and age.. Also, one can't have all but there is a niche market still to their audience, and so, so many other medias in their favor already I don't believe they are left out anymore, on the contrary..

I don't mind dealing with homosexual characters or "heroes" in "mainstream" video games, though I would like it handled decently, read their personal and singular, sexual preferences remaining a somewhat private matter not deceivingly pushed on as the next best thing by lobbies commands (please be honest, aren't most of our current popular medias, Tv shows & sitcoms spoiled with this enough already..?) .. Or as the worst thing and "villains" for that matter, as you and some people have felt it by TW2's Dethmold, so it seems..

I care and empathize for one another just like the next person, however for a personal reason and as a Bible believing Christian, please understand it is my part and duty to oppose our unprecedented secular moral relativism and the sin of homosexuality being given yet another attractive light through yet another media, probably one of the few left unconquered by gay activists propagandas.. I support freedom of speech over "political correctness" in such cases, especially against vocal minority groups binding the creativity and views of others through threats of lawsuits, that should have a right to be different from theirs just as much.. The "gender neutrality" ideology applied outside from certain professional domains and household chores is grievous, as we are gendered beings for a purpose.

I stand on my ground that a sexual behavior, more so a controversial and deviant one is not comparable to gender, race which are genetic traits, the famous "inborn" element that homosexual "orientation", let alone conduct fails to meet, to justify an equal treatment of the causes, as it is a fallacy and semantic manipulation. What better illustration of this oppressive, insidious "work" of word associating, creating only ONE term to purposely, blatantly, maliciously blur any NECESSARY distinction of different realities, deserving of different treatments.. Orientation =/= practice. "Homosexuality" refers to BOTH the (often unwanted and suffered) orientation AND / OR the willful practice.. Whereas "homophilia" for orientation and "homosexuality" for practice would and does make perfect sense, not to the deceitful "gay agenda", obviously.. The orientation being there is one thing, but what a person does with their desires and fantasies is entirely on us, on them..

Hello, @TStael. Thank you, I have sent you a PM, to share with you the personal reason behind my "dead-set" opposition to homosexuality.. As I trust you are mature and nuanced enough to understand it, and me..

Though, if you search for my occasional messages on that subject, you will find that not once have I assumed myself and / or "paraded" as a "Sheep" opposing and mocking the "Goats". I struggle to be and to present myself a humbled, repentant sinner among other sinners, hopefully forgiven by Grace dealing with sin and trying to remove it from my life just like anyone else is, I want to believe.. I don't write to blame others but to offer help, and try to "save" by leading to Christ's blood in accordance to (my) Christian Faith.

The problem I am fighting and denouncing in such threads is simply that, "the homosexual lifestyle" constitutes habitual, unrepented sin leading to DEATH.. The root and process of sin is so, with temptation being our common share and the devil our common enemy fooling our own willful decision to lead action more often than not : (random or provoked) opportunity testing one's belief > (determined) unbelief > (arrogant) pride > (chosen) selfishness > (willful) sinning > addictions from pleasures > slavery of sin > death away from God.. Unless the person / sinner turn to God, begging Him in their distress to break that chain, only through sincere repentance, acknowledging they are sinners and were sinning, deserving death by God's Righteous Law, they are lost and damned. To heal a heart from sin, it takes the blood of Jesus Christ, given for us at the Cross as our expiatory victim and resurrected after three days as our LORD and redeemer, granting by Grace a person a new life away from their ancient lifestyle serving sin and the devil, being a new creation in Christ, as forgiven sinners now glorifying God.. You are harming people because of who they are. Because the fall in love, and feel physical attraction, to people of the same sex, you consider they shouldn't have-sex-with-their-beloved-ones or express-feelings-to-their-beloved-ones or live-as-a-couple-with-their-beloved-ones. Because of who they are, you frame "what they do" as something specific. And wash your hands, claiming that it makes a difference. Claiming that the action or situation itself is different enough that it warrants discrimination. It is not. Not any more than "using a woman mind to cast a vote" is a different action from "voting", or "pressing a black ass on a bus seat" is a different action from "sitting". Racists would frame it as "imposing a black presence", a terrible act that white people never do. But it's not about the act, it's about who peforms it.

Homosexuals perform love. In bed and in life. Only homophobia makes you see it as a specific action, warranting a stigma.

For some self-serving reason, you don't grasp how your social and (wishfully) legal judgement forbids them "to be" more than it forbids them "to do". You are born a male or a female, black or white or from another ethnicity, this is a genetic, inherited reality that is originally constitutive of a person, and keep existing without their consent, hopefully with as they live on.. In opposition to that, you become a homosexual by chosing to behave as one, acting on your desires to engage and maintain same-sex romantic / sexual activities. I don't say it justifies any discrimination against homosexual people, I say it dismiss equating "homophobia" to racism and misogyny, as it is a FALLACY from today's political activists. How can I harm people I do not encounter, or just by speaking truth..? This won't change, I chose integrity and won't speak lies to please others anytime soon. Especially, how could I be an obstacle to their sexuality with it being a private matter.. I don't have to imagine a homosexual world, it is already the reality by our liberal societies. Still, whatever happens by our governments lies and laws, the norm is heterosexual why, because our very nature is physically and mentally structured as heterosexual, as male and female. Our mean of reproduction is exclusively heterosexual, actual sexual union is exclusively heterosexual or you tell me how a penis / vagina can "perform" genuine sexual mating with another penis / vagina by their natural function, ie penetrating / being penetrated.

Quite frankly now, you can't blame a black person for being black, a woman for being a woman, without being silly and unfair. The same is true for accusing heterosexuals of being heterosexuals, matching the norm within conjugal sex as the very source of our existence as reproductive beings / families / societies yet "accusing" homosexuals of conducting immoral sex behaviors and practices is always speaking and stating the truth of our Biblical God's Verdict on that matter, declaring it a sin. I dare you or any living soul to revoke it. Period.

"Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion." (Romans 1:26-27)

To be fair and dismiss once and for all "homophobic discrimination" claims, the same can be said and is true about "accusing" any and all fornicators and adulterers of immoral sex lives, with homosexuality always being a form of either fornication or adultery..

I am also inviting you to imagine a situation, now.. Consider a person dealing with their homosexual attractions and feelings for long and still hesitating, reading our discussion.. By your position, the person will very likely follow their longing desire to engage in homosexuality, no question asked and with your blessing.. By my position, our person will carefully reflect on my writings and most probably turn back to God, deciding to seek His Will better than following their own, walking a safe and prosperous path rather than a dangerous one made of addictions, the slavery of sin making homosexuality their new master. I am safe to say, by the Judgment Day on that matter, God would approve of me for my doing, and you would be punished for yours. Because I have spoken the Holy Scriptures truth leading to LIFE, while you caused someone else to stumble, leading one of your brother or sister to engage in sinning with all possible repercutions..

For myself, I am very careful to hold on to my faith and really don't need / want to know more about homosexuality than seeing it for what it is, a grievous sin that could also master me, by lacking vigilance and confidence in God's Word and Will for me, and our Humankind.. As for all these claims "in the name of love" you are conveying and supporting, I trust that homosexual acts wouldn't be condemned by God, were them equally valid or even comparable with the blessed conjugal sex, heterosexual love!

WHY homosexuality is condemned as an "abomination" by God..? Because we are created as male and female by His design to become husband and wife, that all men are brothers, all women are sisters, between themselves in Humanity, between ourselves in Faith..

To conclude, the forbidding was strong and punished by death by the Old Testament for the Hebrews, the New Testament is grown up, the forbidding proved into WARNINGS of inevitable consequences, the separation from God.. People are free to decide, this is it.

As Christians, we are urged to not pass any judgment on people outside of our own communities, at any rate and the message I trust and share is not mine but from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The "rules" are the same for all sins and all sinners impartially :

"You will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God."

To love God first, then my neighbor as I love myself, equally. And the Golden Rule, do to others what you would want them to do to you..

When a person refuse to recognize a sin being a sin, they are digging their own grave, this is all I am saying and stating. Now, when moral reprobation can't be spoken, replaced by claims that sins are no longer sins because "we" all want an amoral, asexual "equal playground", this is ill societies ways and lies, a major wrong against God and Christ message of Redemption.

Should one search my history in GOG forums about my interventions, one will find many if not all of my "lectures" denouncing homosexuality balanced with "preaches" of hope and salvation, at the core of my messages.. I probably wrote half a dozen, as I found it an opportunate topic to share the Gospel, to be of use to God and a help to you all.. I will now stop doing that though in trivial internet forums, as I don't have the strenght to endure anymore the backfire, for health reasons.. So far, within a single day for publicly standing against homosexuality itself aside from homosexuals, my "claims" and opposition supported by the Bible Scriptures, I have been accused, blamed and judged of harming people, of being a "disgusting homophobic asshole", my personal reason(s) and opinion(s) do not count, I am an anti-semite, a racist, a hypocrite, a misogynist, and probably a homosexual in denial for being so vocal against it..

I guess I needed more of the same "lesson" from another, similar forum community.. Not one message to support me, even through PM. I'm not "playing the martyr" now either, simply stating facts and how I've felt this "discussion" turning today.. It is hurting me to admit, almost submit to the rampant, selfish "get lost, I don't care" attitude going on, but I can't afford risking my fragile ego anymore here. I have had enough and hopefully this is my last damn post in such a trap of a thread, a good slap to my face for thinking too high of this place.. I could grow in indifference and live on thinking "get lost, I don't care" by now.. Or worst, in hate by "go to hell, damned faggots, this is where you belong" but God knows this is not me and I never, ever harbored such attitudes.. Amen.

I suffer from this shitstorm of "free" personal offenses but I forgive, once more. My wrong is to have mistaken this forum and community for my own.. I assumed I was caring, sharing warnings for my brothers and sisters, but you people are not, you are my enemies, for being enemies of God, so I see. I am the winner in the end, I still love my enemies while mercilessly shaken and challenged, still I am keeping my faith in God's Word and Will, now saving me by the truth I am not the one wronging others in this situation, on the contrary.

I'm nowhere near judging, or blaming people for an orientation one has little control over, but I don't and I won't accept moral right and wrong redefined by human people in such oppressive manners, with social pressures. See my position in these threads, I am evil incarnate, the bad guy, just your regular homophobic asshole bigot despite all I've done to distinguish the act from the persons, countless times.. Especially, all I've done to prove my care and love for the individuals, and yes also my hate for greedy, ill intended political activists, building bridges for more to join, focused on expanding their foul "culture" enslaving people deeper in their addictions to that unfortunate sin rather than forwarding the heartbreaking personal testimony of repentant homosexuals, living through their trials and sufferings.. Who's unfair here, I'm leaving you all to judge. I've taken enough on myself to inform, argue and debate with unbelievers.

Some believe Holy Scriptures are irrelevant records of ancient civilizations socio-cultural times and human laws to control the crowd by fear and deceit, I think and trust they are Divine Word, that our God is a Righteous and moral, Holy God, the only Authority to can definite Right and Wrong as our Author.. "Let God be true, and every human being a liar". Today's mentality on the Biblical God and myself "nail" (...) us as "disgusting homophobic assholes" apparently, then so be it. I chose what, who to trust as right. I actually "wash my hands", my personal responsibility of and off you all as a community now, I've done my part. and "shake the dust off my feet".
