Ahhhh! I've missed out on the greatest (if not very broken) RPG of all time selling for $5 just because I don't live in the land of the free and home of the brave!

Namur: Ah, that really sucks.
Sorry mate, i wasn't aware.
Globalization...isn't it grand ?

Navagon: Yeah ain't it just? So they wind up screwing over the few people they do want as customers. Ludicrous. But on the bright side, at least it means I've bought nothing from them.

Every time I wish to buy something from D2D, whenever I wish to impart my cash to them in exchange for a game, I leave disappointed.

Coward! DO IT!!!!
Well, I've heard so much about this game all over and been wanting to get it for a while, that I just had to get, sooo - now I'm waiting for it to arrive :P

also true for Deus Ex, Planescape, and Baldur's Gate II.

michaelleung: Argh, I wish I lived in the US so I could buy it. Can you gift games on D2D the same way you do on Steam?

Bloodlines is on Steam. Buying it was the only reason I even have a Steam account.
EDIT: Gah, nevermind I see what you're talking about now.

I just hope this comes out on GOG.com.... I already legally own a copy, but I want another lol
I hate this thread... *glances at copy of VTMB wistfully*
I bought the game on release, played it on a really under-specced machine (hell, the sound would cut out after a minute or two! No voices, effects, nothing) and played it to death.
Pun intended.
Best time of my life. Videogame wise. Imagine what it would be like if it actually worked properly!

Indeed. Just to get rid of having to use the 3 CDs to install it would be worth $5.99
:D
I bought it on Direct2Drive but the graphics are all screwed up >:(

I'm guessing you have a system with more than 4GB of RAM and an Nvidia graphics card? If so, its a well-known issue with the Nvidia drivers and this game on systems with that kind of RAM, though I believe it has been fixed in a driver update.

There's quite a few good old games that belong here.. good thing it's still in beta or else I'd complain.
bloodlines.. the only Troika game I've never finished. :(
Sadly, I am not fond of Western RPGs, they just... don't sit well with me.
And yes, what killed Troika was that their games were always released prematurely (though Arcanum wasn't too bad). I don't know how much of this was Troika and how much was the publishers breathing down their neck going "RELEASE DATE!!!!!!"

You mean what you've been doing this last year is NOT complaining? :P
